The product is good enough and protected my stomach from the mountain water. Not enough value for money with ease of use though

I am using this in my caravan to filter drinking water that comes from my van tank. It is easy to use and the water tastes great. I was looking for something compact that did the job.

I bought this for a trip to Sri Lanka, just as a bit of insurance against stomach-upsets. It worked really well, though as others have said, it requires quite a bit of pressure to push it down. It's bigger than a standard water bottle, but obviously due to the filter and outer sleeve holds a bit less than you would expect. It's robust and looks good, and either fits in your backpack or can be attached to outside with the lug for portability. Obviously it's not possible for me to corroborate the safety and health benefits other than to say that I didn't have any illness at all while I was away. When home I cleaned and dried it thoroughly ready for our next trip. A reassuring purchase.

Bought the above. Can somebody who knows these things confirm that all I do is remove the top, fill with water, replace the top and then I'm good to go with this product and just drink beautiful clean water? On the plus side I'm in UK and it arrived very quickly with great tracking info from USA. Lightweight.

This is a fantastic product, but read my one concern. I took it on a canoe/camping trip and used it constantly. So much better than boiling water and drinking warm water. Now you really can drink directly from the lake or river. Turned water with sediment swirling into crystal clear, cold water. However... it takes a lot of strength to use. The best method was to put it on the ground and use your body weight to slowly press down on the water. Using my full body weight made it simpler. I also did it in the canoe, where I was only able to use my arms, and that was doable, but more difficult and took longer. I wondered if my wife would have been able to operate this. Make sure to read directions well before tossing them.
