Needed if your are going to climb and limb a tree.
Using this for climbing and limb cutting with an Echo 2511T. Works perfect.

It's a typical Weaver Leather product.
It's made by Weaver Leather. It's exactly as described and exactly what I needed. The only thing I would change is the color. It's a bit pinkish and clashes with my saddle lol. As with everything I've bought from Weaver Leather it's a high quality product. I've read some people don't like the location of the ring but I strongly disagree with them. If you girth hitch the loop to your saw and have the snap somewhere on your saddle the ring is great with a biner to attach to a caritool which shortens the distance to your saw when switching hands or pulling a quick reposition. I find leaving the ring and biner clipped to my caritool when climbing the saw will get snagged going over limbs and through crotches. So climbing I like the length as it hangs a low enough below my feet where it doesnt usually get hung up on anything. In the rare case that the saw does get hung up the lanyard is not too long to reach the saw. For taller climbers it may be a bit short but it's perfect for me at 5'9".

Love this tool lanyard
Well built and sturdy bungee, no fear of the lanyard breaking if I drop my saw. Works well with my small battery chainsaw. Picture is not accurate as I purchased the 1 with a ring & hook vs. 2 rings.

Works like it should. But the trees shred it quick. One last about 2 weeks of climbing. But for 20. Not bad. Will buy more.

Nice heavy duty lanyard.
Nice heavy duty elastic lanyard with a heavy duty clasp and ring. Better than expected, for a change. Mine stretches from 34 inches to 48 inches from center of clasp to end of nylon loop, and clasp to ring from 29 inches to 43 inches. The ring appears to be chrome plated and is 1/4 inch rod x 2 inch I.D. The clasp is brass. The tag indicates a 15 pound SWL. I do wish it recoiled more but I still like it quite well.
