FreeForm Zero Gravity Chair, Loden Green

I really like this chair. I don't know why it didn't show up on my amazon search for zero gravity chairs, but I saw it referenced in another review of zero gravity chairs and looked it up. Yes, it's not the cheapest, but the functionality is great in that the recline and the leg elevation can be worked separately unlike (all?) others out there. Sometimes I want my feet up without having to recline.. I got this specifically for temporary indoor use while I await furniture from moving pods to be delivered. This is a slimmer profile chair and I like that in that the armrests are in the location where my arms naturally fall. I am a larger person and this still fits me. I had previously had a wider one from Timberline, which was a good chair, but didn't have the independent functionality for foot lift and recline and was also too wide to support my arms without holding them in an unnatural position. I had bought the wider one hoping that my small pets could sit with me, but it wasn't wide enough for that and too wide to be comfortable. Even the pillow on this one feels more natural and comfortable. I do find the phone/beverage holders to be quite useless. The beverage holder is really a bottle-only holder and the phone pocket isn't big enough for most current phones. I've seen other zero gravity chairs with fold-out tables built in and that would make this chair just that much more perfect, but it is very nice, sturdy, and just as advertised, so 5 stars from me.

The thing that sets this lounge chair ahead of the pack is the ease with which you can raise and lower your legs just like a recliner. I find it extremely comfortable and it doesn't have a bar digging into some part of your anatomy. The pillow works great. Set it where you want it and it stays put. Only detriment is it is kinda bulky and heavy to drag around with you. I can honestly say it is the most comfortable recliner I've ever used,

This is a great chair! It's super comfortable and sturdy. The addition of being able to lift the legs and not have to lean back is really nice but when you do want to lean back you can almost lay flat. My only gripe is, is that it's kinda hard to get out of. You really have to pull yourself out. It lays pretty flat when folded up. I really do enjoy this chair next to a camp fire leaning back and looking up at the stars.

Very comfortable but kind of heavy and large - make sure you have storage room. Well made.

For so long I have searched for a simple yet comfortable folding chair with an INDEPENDENTLY raisable foot rest. All the other Gravity chairs out there force you to lay back to raise the feet, which... I mean if I'm going to take a nap is fine, I suppose, but seriously, most of the time you just want to put your feet up while sitting relatively upright. So you can eat. Or drink. Or talk to people. Or gaze out at the beautiful scenery. Or read a book. Or avoid heartburn from that fabulous pasta you just ate. The reasons are endless! Somehow this magical chair manages that (difficult?) feat—with a simple, idiot-proof lever—and delivers a reclining experience which respects your right to choose. I literally want to bring this chair in from the porch and use it in my living room; it's that comfortable. Please, someone, make a cute indoor version of this chair so that I can use it indoors without looking like a redneck hillbilly (I might do it anyway).

Appears to be very good quality chair. I appreciate the angle down frame at the foot, avoiding pressure/contact with ankle or foot. The problem with this one, and essentially all others I have tried, is they are just too short.

I love this chair, it's super comfortable! it's a little heavy but all zero gravity chairs are. I have the army green color and looks great! Solid made, good stitching, another great GCI product!

I bought two of these and they’re very comfortable and well made. They work out great for camping chairs.

I luv the idea of this chair ..independent adjustment of back angle and leg elevation..and if you’ve ever sat in a zero gravity chair..you’ll appreciate that the foot bar doesn’t cut into your tendons ..and when you get up from chair..your not standing on a bar ..sweet!.Luv the colour too!...that said..a chair fit for a king?...hears where my smile..turned to frown...a 4 inch stain that even with upholstery cleaner etc..still remained ..the chair doesn’t lean back for that feeling of zero gravity...cheap chairs don’t either...it’s a world of difference...trust me...the stitching was so crooked..must have been from disgruntled employee..sweatshop?..scratches on the paint..sharp plastic burr on rubber...the cup holder is only good for short cups...tall ones fall over ..spill...the cell phone holder won’t fit our larger phones with cases ...too bad it’s riveted on..hello scissors..be looking at getting a clip on side table ...the only saving grace is the most excellent locking mechanism along with that foot bar..bent away from your feet...hopefully the ‘to it may concern’ people...will take my review to heart 💜...and implement my take on what the next new and improved version will be..I’ll be expecting...two ‘free’ chairs in the mail 😉👍..considering sending it back for an inspected proper one....what a pain in the ...this is my first review ever...get it ‘right’ people!...😃…used chairs for a week…a nut fell off with cap..another bolt started to unscrew…good thing had old chair for part..:semi-thread lock tight ..or split washer…this experience parallels ..eating a 5-star meal..only to discover a dirt mark…under the food on the plate !

Received them well packed..clean, well built. tTkes a little time to get used to opening up but so far so good.
