There is no odor in this product.

Would this be suitable as a cake topper?

Yes, this can be used as a cake topper. Please hand wash and dry the dragon thoroughly before you place it on the cake.

Is this dragon hollow or solid?

It is one solid piece, not hollow.

Weird question, i know, but would it pair well with safari's "Flower Dragon"? Is he bigger or smaller, and by how much?

4.5"L x 3.5"W x 5.25"H.flower6.3 Lx 3.6 Wx 5.2 H forest Not sure about the pairing but the forest dragon is a bit longer which is good as it is a male...the forest dragon resembles more of what u would think a dragon would look like ....u always could go and buy a couple cans of pink, purple, yellow etc..and spray paint it if u wanted and turn it into a rainbow dragon...my son wanted a black dragon for the longest time and couldn't find one anywhere a few yrs back...so I just just got a safari dragon and spray painted it black....he loves it and as on today it's still his favourite
