Concealer Cabinet for Litter Robot II, Unfinished

The quality of the item is great. It is real, heavy wood. Price seems a little steep, but I looked into having my brother make one for me, and the price difference wasn't too significant. It was more convenient just to buy this. I stained the wood black to match the rest of my furniture, which was a much lengthier process than I anticipated. I wish it had come pre-stained in black in addition to the colors they currently offer. But this is a great blank slate for you to work with, and the color is pretty enough that you could just seal the wood and it would look nice. I store an air purifier, a dust buster, and a litter container on top of it. It's very easy to move away from the actual litter robot when I need to do some deep cleaning. And of course, it makes my litter area much more visually appealing.

This is a very nice cabinet. I had to move my litter robot to the dining room because I recently had a cousin move in with me and she moved into the spare office room where the litter robot was. Obviously I didnt want it too obvious that I had this in my dining room so I bought this to cover it up. Its pretty great I customized it by buying a cheap curtain rod and small valance curtains and installing it on the front of the cabinet and stained it a nice deep brown now it just looks like a big table. Took 5 minutes to put it together and there is no back to it so dont expect to let that face outward as you will see the back of the litter robot.

I am so glad that they offer this cabinet for the litter robot -- it makes the litterbox look like a piece of furniture instead of a large awkward contraption in the middle of the room. fits perfectly and although I may seal it to protect the wood, I like the color of the wood as is. Very easy to assemble (and believe me I have assembled A LOT of Ikea products) -- this cabinet is well designed, attractive and assembly couldn't have been simpler. I had it together in 15 minutes (someone else could have done in 5). can't say enough good things about this... if you are getting a litter robot, get the cabinet. wherever you are putting the litter robot, this can only make things better -- if nothing else, it creates a shelf or another surface for kitty to hang out on.

As perfect as it can be. It's sturdy strong -- and very light -- so light it's easy to mistake for "cheap" wood, but I put my printer/scanner and stacks of paper on it, so it's actually very strong. If you have a Litter Robot, this is a great functional cabinet to have. After six weeks of use, I've discovered this is a must have simply because it also greatly reduces litter dust being spread everywhere.This cabinet also helps reduce dust. Along with the Litter Robot and a good dust-free litter (no litter is really dust free though) it will eliminate 99.99% of all dust. I have had my printer sitting dust free atop the litter and not a speck of litter dust. Without the cabinet I noticed some dust gathering.

Wood isn't all solid. Some particle or pressed board in the middle (sandwiched between to thin slices of solid wood.) However, this makes it lighter. Easy to move when cleaning litter robot. Stained soooo nicely and easily. Stained mine a dark English wood (inside and out) with one small can of stain from Walmart. Used a can of mod-podge acrylic sealant spray that I had already.Staining it myself saved me like 50$! And, it still looks beautiful! Easy assembly and easy to stain! :)

My husband painted it to match the room we put it in. Not only does it hide the litter robot well, but the top can be used too. Ours sits on carpet, so we placed plywood underneath to keep it balanced. We just had our carpets redone, so my husband stapled some extra carpet on top of the plywood so it matches perfectly. I would recommend this to anyone looking to hide their litter robot.

The Litter Robot is the best purchase I've made in a long time, it makes life so convenient. The downside is the size and bulky nature. The concealer cabinet was pretty easy to assemble though the instructions could be better. Assemble carefully otherwise you'll end up with a slight wobble like I did. The wood is a lot thinner than it appears in the picture however it creates extra space and I store a lot of items on top and it has held up well.

There is nothing particularly special about this, but it is light, looks nice after the paint and does the job.It's worth saving the money versus the pre-finished version in my opinion. Besides, my girlfriend is a Doctor Who fan and she has painted it Tardis-style. Definitely a conversation piece now. (I have to add that the Litter Robot has just been perfect.
