Giving it 4 stars although I had to return it.
I believe the product to be of great quality and ingenuity. It has many great features with ease of setting up & storing away. However, I tried to get my 115lb golden retriever to use it multiple times without stressing her out and it was just a no-go.I noticed that for someone her size, the stairs were just not wide enough for a comfortable stride going up the stairs. I walked with her with & without leash and she fell off the side of the higher steps. With a leash she was better as I kept her close to me, but she seemed spooked by them. I know it takes training but if a comfortable foundation isn't there, it's not going to work. After multiple times, I felt that it was just not going to help & returned it.I did more searching to find a wider step & found one here on Amazon from Pet Gear. It has only two wide carpeted steps & I think I may give those a try. It seems as though they would give more room to move.Full disclosure, my Golden is 115lbs & almost 13 years old. I'm sure there's some contributing factors with weight/age. I remember when she used to run & jump in any open door in the SUV to take a ride. My intentions were to keep her loving her car rides. It's a good product & may be wonderful for a little bit smaller and/or younger dog.

Dangerous!!!
Bought this for my 8 year old golden retriever. He has joint disease and can no longer jump in and out the car at will. This is a good concept. It's easy to carry. Unfortunately, our dog slipped on the wet steps last week and hurt his leg. Now he's afraid to use it again. The surface of the steps is a thin layer of fabric, only a little water, it is very slippery, and it is too narrow for my big dog. This is really a good concept steps, but the seller needs to solve the big problem of safety to sell it. It is not recommended to buy.

Pretty sturdy collapsible stairs
It’s definitely well made and feels safe to walk up. Each step is definitely a little bit narrower than I thought but my 70 pounder was able to manage. I wanted something that I would be able to have him use to get into the backseat, but unfortunately this only works for the cargo area. The steps are too wide to fit at the opening of the backseat doors. That said, I do like these steps.

Great product!
We have an older mastiff and an older boxer. It has become very hard to get them in and out of our SUV's. These steps worked great for both dogs. Even with the mastiff weighing 140# the steps didn't flex at all.

Light and it works.
I have a 100 pound mostly Golden Retriever who is beginning to get a little arthritic in his hips and was having a problem jumping into the back of my Jeep and also probably should not be jumping down.It took about 10 seconds to persuade him to run up the steps and now he takes them in his stride. I hope that they last as the steps themselves seem to be made of some "slip resistant" rubberized fabric as opposed to being metal, - which of course is why the whole thing is nice and light. Not cheap but if they last then they are worth the price.

Good design but one flaw
Overall these stairs are great. They are lighter than I expected, the frame is very sturdy and folds easily into a compact shape. There is one flaw that concerns me a good amount. The surface of the step itself is not a solid piece of plastic but instead a square of plastic smaller than the step itself which is sewn in between two layers of fabric. (The fabric itself is great and the rubberized traction marks work great) The problem is that this makes the steps give and flex a lot more than if it were a solid piece that extends over the frame itself. I fear that over time these will fail as the fabric supporting all the weight wears. Even if that doesn't happen, it makes the steps flex more which makes the steps seem unsteady. It's hard enough to convince an aging dog to trust these steps and anything that makes them seem less stable just increases the dog's anxiety. I really wish they would have designed these differently. That said, they do work fine for now, and hopefully won't wear out soon. My dog did eventually learn to trust these steps and they help him get into the vehicle much easier than the stool I was using previously. I would probably buy these again so long as they last a sufficient amount of time. (My dog is a 113lb 12.5 year old black lab with muscle loss and arthritis in his back legs and hips. I'm not sure I would use these for a dog much heavier despite their higher rating, but they do fine for him.)

Very strong steps
My dog weighs 148 and he get old and my truck is high so I brought steps for him and he had no palm and I had ramp but he didn’t like ramp so I got him steps and he walk up and down. It very helpful and steps is strong. Easy fold it and unfold . It is very worth it to have it and it good to get steps before he get old and easy train him. It took him less half hour thenno palm after that. I strong recommend people have this steps and it strong and better than other step which not strong.
