The size chart on amazon isn’t working. i’m a uk size 11 (euro 45) so what size would i need? i’m thinking l or xl. thanks.

I wear a large and my foot measures 273 mm and I usually wear 9.5uk/44eu. I would want my Skinners any smaller or they stop your big toe moving freely.

Any other different brand options out there that are better?

nope - so far skinners + sealskinz waterproof socks are my daily driver in almost all weather conditions, including snow. Only on the beach or in swimming pools i prefer to be barefoot for real or wear sandals or flipflops instead

I don't understand how to use the size guide.

I bought a pair during the crowdfunding phase. The size guide said if in doubt choose the smaller size. I was always a UK size 8.5 but recently shoes are getting a bit tighter and I often need a 9. The size guide split right down the middle with M up to 8.5 and L starting ar 9. As suggested I took the smaller size and it fits perfectly.
