Great, slightly taller portable chair
We bought two of these to use as supplemental seating for a booth at a recent fair/expo. They're easy to carry, extremely sturdy and comfortable, and the seat height is at least an inch or two higher than most of the other folding chairs on the market, which was important, as we were using them behind a standard-height table. Folks of different sizes and weights used them and everyone found the backrest to be surprisingly comfortable and supportive. The protective canvas-type covers were a godsend as we carried them in during a heavy downpour, and they were dry and ready to use right out of their bags. Both the bag and the chair have carrying straps, so there's no need to always fuss with the bag if you don't need it. The only drawback was a pointy plastic edge that stuck out from the apex on one of the chairs, making it uncomfortable to use in some positions. Otherwise, a snap to set up and fold back up, and worth the slightly higher price.

Comfort and ease
Super comfortable chairs that worked well in our hunting blind. Our 5 year old was so comfortable he took a nice nap in one.

It's solid...
I use camp chairs several times a week prior to my hockey games at a rink that does not have proper locker rooms and benches. I'm a goalie so I got a ton of awkward gear. I tend to plop heavily and awkwardly down on the chairs as I get geared up. In other words, I'm really hard on these chairs. I've gone though some cheap chairs this year, each of them lasting maybe two months before I thoroughly destroy them. I've had this one for a few months now and it's built rock solid. No signs of anything falling apart. Its three legged, so it's inherently more wobbly than your standard 4 legger, but its just fine if your are just sitting like a normal human.

Strong construction fast deployment
It is a fine hunting seat. A bit heavy but needed for my 220 lb 6’3” body. If you have a see through blind and shoot a bow... This is the seat you need.

Early review
I just got this and haven't taken it out in the field yet, but so far it looks good.Putting it together is very easy, just take out the tripod portion out of the bag and place the top on. It looks like it would be best to adjust the legs before putting the top on, it would be a pain to change it after. The adjustments can't be fine tuned like some other chairs, there are set points that they adjust too. I'm not sure if this will be a problem. The chair is large. If you are a big person you should fit well in this. But it is also quite heavy. Not something I would like to have to move around often.About moving it around.. I have no idea how I'm going to carry this thing. Having a bag to store the tripod on the chair is very nice. But there are no straps or anything to carry the chair itself. I am baffled as to why they didn't include some way of carrying this. I am likely going to have to make some sort of shoulder strap to move this.My initial testing of quietness, me sitting in it and spinning like a kid, it hasn't made a sound. Although, these chairs tend to be quite at the start and after awhile start to make noise. So, only time will tell on that part.

Buy it!!!
Buy it, well made, comfortable, easy to carry in the woods, great price for this product
User
VERY WELL MADE!
I purchased two of these chairs for Christmas gifts. The quality is very, very good - and both recipients were impressed with that.My grandson has already used his chair (for duck hunting) and was very pleased with it.My husband agreed that the quality was great - however he found it to be too heavy and difficult for him to lower himself to the seated height and almost impossible to stand back up. This was not a chair issue - it is a user's age and physical condition issue. I had to return that chair and the return process was expedient and very easy.

kind of OK
Chair is decent. however it tends to get very uncomfortable VERY quick. was bought for hunting. For the price and weight, just get a regular folding chair if you're planning on sitting on it for a long time.
