Such an amazing chair for the price. It looks and feels very rich and solid and the leather is beautiful. Getting the footrest out is a bit of a challenge, but it's doable and very comfy. I'm just kind of short, so it's hard for me to lean back with my feet on the ground. HAHA!The cushion on the chair is really nice and springy, and time will wear it in beautifully. I love everything about the chair - the look, the feel, the comfort, the ease of assembly and how great it looks in our room! It will fit with any decor and it looks really classy.I'm thrilled with my purchase, and I hope that someday soon I'll have time to actually sit in it and read a good book.

Struggled trying to decide whether to order or not. Nice to be able to sit in it before purchasing. Decided to try it. The chair was delivered in two days! Delivered during our “Imelda Event” here in the Houston area. The delivery gentleman kindly set it into the foyer to get it out of the weather. I was home alone and pushed the box into the living room. I slid it out of the box and read the directions and put it together in about 5 minutes. Very simple. The chair is very classy and elegant looking. It is firm sitting just as we like. It was a little stiff reclining it back the first couple of times, but we can already see it getting easier to operate. My hubby came home and Loved it. Sat down in it at noon and he’s still in it at 2:42 pm. Lol. I may not get a chance to sit in it. We are watching the news cover the Imelda Storm and great full to be safe and dry while the new chair is enjoyed! Thank you. We are so Glad we took a chance. It’s a Beautiful piece of furniture.

Comfortable, and easy to set up. Very little head support but this isn't a $1,200 chair, either.It looks good in my office and my dog loves to sit in it while I work at my desk.More ambiance than usability but then I didn't spend a fortune on it either.

VERY pleased with this chair. It took us longer to unpack it than it did to assemble it.....5 minutes, tops. We got the brown, and it's a very rich-looking piece of furniture at an affordable price. It's extremely comfortable, sturdy, very attractive and exactly what I need for my upcoming surgery because I cannot sleep in our bed for a few weeks. It is a little stiff at first when trying to recline, but it has loosened up some so it's much easier now. I needed one without a lever to operate because they're always on the right side, and that's the arm I'm having surgery on. I will be in a sling making it impossible to operate a lever. The design is perfect, and wraps right around you instead of the overstuffed backs that push you forward and up. I highly recommend this chair!!! :)

The chair is beautiful & wish it met the needs of my husband but it doesn't. I didn't realize it would be so hard to have it sent back. They want me to take pictures, go to a link & download something. Maybe you could help. I just want to get it sent back so we can find something else. Thank you

This chair is very cheaply made it arrived with a puncture in the top corner. You can tell by the look and feel this bycast reconstituted leather won’t hold up. Please research leather and what is considered junk and what is considered good quality leather. 400 bucks isnt a lot but it is when the item goes to seed within months of buying it. In this case it was damaged at delivery. You get what you pay for. The chair frame felt very cheap as I could wiggle the top back and forth like the frame was made from very cheap wood. There’s no arm to maneuver it into a lying position which for me was hard I am 5’5 and my feet didn’t hit the ground to be able to push it back. The getting it from laying to sitting was fairly easy. The chair was nice looking which really made it a shameIt was so cheaply made. I really wanted it to work after viewing it and reading reviews,I had my doubts about how well it was made and I was right.Also a very small chair wouldNot work for a big person. You would also need a pillow behind your head as the back leans back so no support.

This chair was relatively easy to assemble, though it took some help lining up the connecting hardware to put the back on. The first chair was missing parts. Amazon rapidly resolved the issue and the fully functional chair works perfect.

Came quickly and in great condition. My husband is 6'4 215lbs, I am 5'11 230lbs. My husband likes an extra firm chair and this is just what he likes. No pillow softness to this chair. Hubby likes the chair just as it is. I, on the other hand, find it way too firm for long term sitting ie watching a movie. I am hoping, with time, it will soften up some. I also feel it needs a small pillow behind my head when I recline as my head tips back to far for it to be comfortable. There is only 3 positions to this chair. Sitting straight up, leaning a little back with the legs slightly raised and then completely reclined. I love that the footrest part of the chair is long enough for both my husband and myself and is comfortable. I dont feel the chair is too narrow as others have mentioned, I am about 80lbs overweight and its a nice size for me. It was so quick and easy to assemble. If anything drastic happens I will update but we are very happy with them right now.
