North Mountain Gear Ghillie Suit 3D Camouflage Hunting Suit with Camouflage Jacket and Pants - Breathable

This is a very well made ghillie suit. Sturdy material. Good zippers. Nice pockets. I'm tall, 6'2, and the extra length in the jacket is nice. Color works well in my area of central Texas. Would recommend.

Hunting: Archery Location: Northern IL Season: Deer Oct - Jan This 3D Leafy camo is a great value for the price. I am a bigger guy at 5’9 230lbs and I purchased a 3X because I usually layer up during the late season. The zipper jacket and pants are breathable which is nice on those random unseasonable warm late October early November days. They fit over my hoodies and coat with movement to spare. I’d say if I had gotten a 2X it would be okay but I wanted to make sure it would fit over coveralls or any other bulky coats and pants. The camo pattern is great and its lightweight leafy pattern on those light windy days makes it flappy making you blend in to any oak or maple tree. My first time in my tree I had a doe at 5 yards not even look my direction and a coyote the next day oblivious that I was in my tree stand. They both walked in behind my location where I have zero cover. The functionality of this suit helped me blend in so I didn’t stick out like a bear in a tree. Give this suit a try. I know a few other posts discussed the UV component of the suit but after sitting and deer not reacting to me being in the tree I’m not sure if it’s significant enough to bother the deer. That is not to say the other UV testing has no significance, in my own experience the suit did alarm any deer or coyotes so far. I give this suit an A++++

These are very good quality leafy camo. Plenty of leaves and I like that the undergarment is also camo. There are only two suggestions I would have. I would like to see drawstrings at the bottom of the pants. Velcro closures at the wrists to keep the sleeves off your hands would be nice. Neither of these affect the functionality of the garment, but would be a welcome addition.

I bought this for my husband. He normally wears a XXL but got it on the big side so he can wear clothes under it. The first one came from Dick's Sporting Good, spent $100.00 for it to be completely torn up after he wore it once. It is made with a good quality fabric not a just netting. With the warm weather this weekend, he didn't have anything on under it except shorts. Heavy enough it will take into late fall/early winter easily. He bow hunts and this was quiet when he moves as well. I don't normally write reviews. But, this is one of the best things for the money I've bought on here. Recommend it.

I love it. Seems very good quality. Wish both sides of leaves were colored.
