so efficient and reliable
I see the other negative reviews and I just disagree. What are they comparing these too? These are great. Cheap for what you get. The way they interlock makes them very handy, and they are as sturdy as any of the other light stands I have. So easy to carry. They compare very well to the Manfrotto and Arri stands that are more expensive, and in fact these have broken less than others I've seen. If you need a super sturdy stand you wouldn't probably be in the market for these anyway — but these are a life saver on the documentary shoots I usually go on, where it really helps to be able to carry things easily and quickly. Many folks have commented on how great these are.

Fairly disappointed.
Considering it's folded length is 8" longer and 50% more expensive, it's not nearly as stable as the LP605 stands. Will have to limit it's use to only smaller modifiers. Fairly disappointed.

Super light weight but sturdy
I love this stand. It folds down super small so I can keep it in a file drawer at work. Super lightweight but sturdy.

FROM A WOMAN'S POV
IMO these stands are as good as the Manfrotto ones for far less $$$. I bought the Manfrottos first and returned them because they were not stellar (based on the price paid) and I wanted 3 but glad I only bought one to see the quality before diving in. I got 3 of these for the price of one Manfrotto. As a woman who carries all her own equipment I was looking to lighten my load and trips to the car. Three of these meet my need by providing compact, stackable & easy carry stands for my backdrop setup and a stand for lighting. Of course they are not as stable as my C-Stand but I did not expect them to be. I can load them in my case along with the cross bar for the backdrop and keep moving. Couldn't do that prior to getting these. I tested it with by Xplor600 with no modifier and would not use it with that light, but with 1 or 2 AD200s and a 24 or 42 inch modifier, it worked well. I did add a sand bag to it to ensure stability. (but I ALWAYS add sandbags). These will definitely lighten your load, save room in your case and meet your basic needs. If you're looking for major stability without a need to support then stick with c-stands. I only wanted to have a lighter, compact, pack everything or as much as possible in one bag option and this works well for me. I've had no issues with the locks or air cushions all have continued to work well for me. I no longer have to make several trips to the car for equipment. FYI - If you plan to pack these in a rolling case be sure to measure them. The 8 ft stands measure EXACTLY 36inch fully collapsed. I think I could have gone with the shorter ones, but I'm keeping these. LOVE IT!

This had a lot f promise but fails in almost every respect.
This had a lot f promise but fails in almost every respect. The ones that I got are air cushions but only on the extension. Releasing the locking screw will just let whatever payload you have fall. My $30 15 year old impact stands do a far better job. Then it's super wobbly. It looks like it would be very rigid and sturdy buts it's not. The bottom retention clasp is very loose and just a little tap the whole thing is swinging in the wind from only the 3/4 hight position. There is no way I would trust full hight on this thing. The actual design is quite good but the manufacturing tolerance killed it in the execution. Needless to say they are going back.

Overall great! Minor issues.
Overall great! The locking lever for the spreading legs on both (bought a double pack) needed to be tightened to actually work and I am worried over time it wont last. The stands come with "Equipped with a 5/8" top stud with a 3/8" threaded, plus a removable 1/4"-20 threaded top" => I REALLY Wish the to brass screw threads reversed, this one just screws off to expose the larger threads but now I have to worry about losing the top.

No sostiene una godox sl60w y un octabox, varias veces se quería caer hasta que se rompió un tubo del soporte. No volvería a comprar este stand.
