I got these shades to put in the downstairs hallways and on the upstairs landing. When i first got these shades, I was worried they would cause "focal" lighting, where my lights would essentially just shine downwards and not out much, so that the hallway wouldn't be well-lit. My worries were not needed! These are actually quite large and wide shades, although of a very elegant style, and allow plenty of light to go all over the hallway and up and down the stairs. An added bonus is that any bugs which have found their way into the house are finally not attracted to the lights and their shades, as the shades don't attract them from the ceiling, being a solid cover. I can also tell that these are a very hardy light cover that will last, as there's no crackable plastic or wood. I do highly recommend!

Really nice and makes light more subtle

Very good, if you want a low light overy a table, its more use for a down light than to light up a room, but looks fairly good.

The only little thing was fitting the reducer plate was a bit awkward. Great that the reducer plate came with each light shade. I highly recommend these.

The colour matched the dark tones of my table and bookcases in my living room.

Bigger than I think

Der lampenschirm sieht wie auf dem Foto aus und ist wie erwartet. Die Masse sind passend. Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass der Lampenschirm innen genauso aussieht wie aussen, also nicht heller ist und das Licht nicht reflektiert. Dadurch geht viel Licht verloren.
