Out of box hardly has any give to it. I will loctite the screws because why not. I like the weight of it. Balance is just above the mid point of the handle on the three grooves. Spring latch is solid. I love the color. It's a beautiful blue with purple flashes here and there. Tbh at this price point I couldnt be more pleased and I can't wait to learn the ins and outs without destroying my fingers!

I work at a balisong manufacturing and engineering facility, and wanted a cheap trainer to have as an everyday beater. Aside of the pivot holes being slightly oversize, and the tang pin/tang pin cup dimensions being a bit wonky, it’s an excellent trainer for a beginner, or someone who isn’t interested in spending hundreds of dollars on a trainer.

This knife was really great. When I got it was stiff like expected but just a few minutes of flipping and thing thing was smooth as butter. What is really nice is the included hardware. I didn’t like the latch so I removed it. Which was super easy and super easy to reinstall. Overall Great knife for beginners like me.

I didn't think nothing of it because you have to tighten it up often if your flipping it and thought it was probably just too loose and came out. After finding the screw I tried to screw it back into the spacer but it wouldn't tighten. I took it back off and looked inside of it and the first 3 or 4 threads of the spacer were stripped. I've only tightened this part of the knife once on both sides and not even tight enough to strip anything. I don't know if I just got a bad spacer with mine or what but I can no longer use it.

My son ordered this as an addition to his growing collection of butterfly knife trainers, and it quickly became his favorite. It moves smoothly, has a good weight, and looks really cool. He's already getting better at the tricks he's been practicing, and it doesn't make any noise so it isn't driving me crazy with the clatter in the process!

This is the perfect beginner balisong, especially if you don’t want to spend a lot of money at first so you can save and get something better. It’s very well made and is very sturdy. The finish is very nice, and it flips pretty smooth. After about 30 minutes the screws came a little loose, I just put some loctite on them and have had no more issues with them coming loose. If you are a beginner and don’t want to wait to save money and get an expensive one then this is perfect for you.

At first, I was expecting this to be a good product after seeing all these 5 star reviews, and it looks cool too, so I had to see it for myself because I want to get another knife. But after using it for like 30 minutes, one the screws already fell apart and the other one is so tight I can't even adjust it. The price for this is too high for it's quality.

This is an ok balisong trainer for the price. That being said it is 15 bucks, it broke in less than 2 hours so do not buy it!
