Modway Lippa 36" Mid-Century Modern Dining Table with Square Top and Pedestal Base in White

This table is so pretty and it seems well made. I have two complaints:1. Requires a custom-designed table top protector! A) The surface is VERY easy to scratch and stain, anything adhesive seems to remove the gloss finish entirely so I don't know how well anything other than glass or maybe plexiglas would work on this - I wish there was a more durable coating on top of it because the plastic bumpers used to separate the glass from the surface have already seemed to ruin the lacquer beneath them. B) Due to the unconventional length and width (35.5"), we had to order a custom glass table top protector from a local shop - couldn't find any glass or plexiglas that size online (let me know if you know a place!).2. The table top arrived a little bent... so it isn't flat:The table top we received has a slight slope to it (~1/8" difference in height), maybe it was warped during shipping? So the glass table-top protector we got for it wobbles since it's not exactly a flat surface. Not a huge deal, but frustrating to have to try to work around.

I bought this to use in an apartment--a second residence where efficiency is important. Using it as an all-urpose table, especially for dining. it is attractive. It arrived fine. No problems with balance or tipping or structural design. Reviews say it scratches. I would think that's true. It cleans nicely for straightforward issues like food or simple spills. I had a 3 year old go outside the lines with her coloring markers and I can't get it out. No response from the sellers about what solvents to use or how to clean anything challenging. Thankfully it's a small spot. But, if you're going to use this table for real life, or expect it to go the long haul, don't. I'd say it needs to be gently treated like you would a valuable wood surface--careful about too hot, careful about staining, careful not to scratch. How careful are you willing to be in order to have the look?

At this price point I was unsure what the overall quality of this reproduction might be, however, it turned out to be well above my expectations. The base of the table is heavy and very stable and easily bolts to the top. The high gloss finish on both the top and the base is flawless. It seems well suited for use as my "go to" breakfast and coffee location as well as a supplementary dinner option. I am also very happy with the two Modway Lippa Dining Side Chairs I purchased to complete the set. I am sitting comfortably at the table right now enjoying it with a second cup of morning coffee.

The description of the table is “one package “ for that reason UPS only picked up one box with the base of the table! I still have the top, and I don’t know how to return the second box, please advise!

It’s a good looking table and matches our shiny white IKEA cabinet fronts. It tucks in perfectly on the other side of the kitchen island to provide a spacious dining nook. With bench seating, it makes for a fun booth and I foresee that art projects will be done here as well.I examined ours when it arrived and there was no damage or dents. Cheaper on Amazon than similar tables on other sites. I’ll be curious to see how it holds up to daily use.

This table was purchased new so the packaging was strong and the table was in mint condition. The base is heavy and sturdy, so you don't have to worry about the table tipping over. Since it is high gloss, it's really easy to clean. If you're trying to furnish a smaller apartment (like me) the design is both functional and minimal so it won't take up a lot of physical or visual space. Best purchase I've made and would do it 100 times over!

We bought 2 of these tables for an office breakroom! The materials withstand the elements of having many people use them and they are a great heavy duty quality which no other reviewer had mentioned so I was worried. The table top feels like an acrylic which is nice because it can be sanitized! All the more necessities of have many people use this! Base is heavy and stays put. No need to worry about it tipping over etc.
