Fun sensors and easy to use
I picked up this 3-pack to tinker with a weather station project, and I'm genuinely impressed by the simplicity of the technology here. It's fascinating that this little board can detect moisture just by measuring conductivity across the nickel-plated sensing plateโso basic, yet so effective. Using this with an Arduino was completely seamless. You get both digital (for a simple rain/no-rain signal) and analog (for moisture level) outputs, which gives you a ton of flexibility. Setup was just power, ground, and one signal pin; the whole thing took about five minutes. If you're into DIY electronics, these modules are cheap, super easy to integrate, and they work right out of the box. A great little component for any moisture-sensing project.

Fast shipping, quality product
I'm building out a complete DIY wifi enabled weather station. This is one of the many sensors involved in the project and will provide one more data point. The product was shipped quickly and worked right out of the box. Not necessarily a multi-buy product, but if you're looking for a good quality rain sensor for your DIY project, this is a good one.

These work fine, but have several on hand!
These drop sensors seem to work pretty consistently out of the box. Rarely if ever get a unit with a problem, and their results seem repeatable across units. The downside to these devices (and this is not at all unique to this brand/unit) is that their job is literally to try to pass current through water, a situation that results in corrosion and degradation over a fairly short period of time. So, if you're using these for say a weather station or garden watering sensor, they'll do a great job for you....but have an extra on hand all the time, so you can swap out the board easily and quickly. 3 for 6 bucks makes that easy to do with these!

Soldering Job is VERY Sensitive
I had read reviews that the soldering job was not the greatest, but I was very surprised when my order came and already 2/3 of the sensors solders had snapped just in the mail. Fortunately, the third one held on and worked for all of a few minutes. Upon plugging in the sensor, it worked just fine. I then unplugged it and plugged it back in and the THIRD SOLDER SNAPPED! I guess I'll have to return this item but I would really appreciate it if the seller would just send me another. I'm a bit upset but I won't rate the seller bad as their product DOES work, but the solders are just way too sensitive.

Readily adaptable
Satisfied need for a sensor that could be placed in hard to access locations (inside stud wall) to check for moisture penetration, an application that didn't require the module that connects to the sensor for Arduino use. Simply used the provided wires to connect to an ohmmeter which indicates "infinite" or "open circuit" until a drop bridges the tracings on the sensor. Wrapped the sensor in the toe of a cotton sock to wick up moisture.

same sensor solder issue
Same as others, right out of the bag, the sensor connector was loose from board, bad solder joint, I did not open the other 2. Easy return, quick refund. I'm no solder wizard but it just looked like very bad quality solder. I'm sure I could have flowed some on and fixed it easily, but I just got turned off to trusting the traces at that point, and I can't fix those. I decided to just spend the extra $20 on actual WYZE sensors and skip any headaches. I should not have tried to go the cheap route, but I kinda felt like tinkering.

Great for many applications !!
I used one in vehicle to Automatically turn on wipers, used one on Garden to automatically turn on Water. Third one still thinking of another application.

Created Rain sensors for my smart home with these!
We'll see how long they last but so far have been reliable for 2 months after installation. They came as advertised, happy with them, so far so good

Not reliable
Built a small rain sensor with one of these a few days ago, it's already corroded and even though it's pouring rain and the sensor appears wet it will not detect it
