This made storing and using my spices so organized and easy. I purchased chalkboard labels and placed them on the side of each container. I also cut a half circle for each container top. Now I can easily see what each container holds. Instead of containers of various sizes this unit provides an attractive, well organized, and easily portable method for my spices. The SS spice holders also fit perfectly in my RV spice rack. I purchased two sets so I can just grab and go when I need them on the road while working, or to take them to a camp out. I like the larger size of these so I don't have to refill constantly and they hold enough to last while working. I am an OTR driver and prepare most of my meals on my truck with an induction burner and microwave. Update: the top of the storage bag rubs on and smears the half circle inscription. I solved this by placing scotch tape over the writing.

The shakers are nice and the carry case is well constructed. However, overall I wasn't pleased with the design. The shakers are huge - bigger than standard spice bottles. They are also all the same size and have the same lids. It's great if you want to carry around steak seasoning for a whole hog but not if you want varying spices. The lids also don't work well for fine ground spices like cinnamon because the lids leak if the cans get upside down. It would also be nice if there was some elastic in the case to keep them in place. Once you take a can out the others can fall over. Also, in a spice rack at home, you see the sides of the bottles - not the tops. So it would be better if the cans were elastic bound to the top and bottom of the inside of the case - so you could see the sides of the cans.Overall, it's a decent kit but with minor refinements it would be great.

There are just what I was looking for. I don't like keeping spices on my RV while in storage because they heat inside just causes them to go stale quickly. I bought these for salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika and some bbq rub. I keep them in my house and when I load the RV to go camping I just grab this pouch and put it above the sink. When I get home, grab the pouch and take it back into the house before putting the RV in storage. The container lids screw on tightly and they fit inside the zippered pouch perfectly. My only negative comment is the green color of the pouch, not my favorite, but I wish it were black or brown instead.

These do not stay closed and leak spices all over the bag. And that was with filling them only half way. Also the containers came extremely dirty with a black film (graphite maybe?). They did not serve their purpose.

If you think salt n pepper are the only two spices in the world, this isn't for you. If you enjoy cooking a flavorful meal outdoors (most likely car camping as probably too heavy and bulky for backpacking), you need this!I love to cook and bought this on a partial whim not expecting much and partially hoping it actually would be nice. I was more than pleasantly surprised! These are 6 high quality stainless steel spice shakers with adjustable openings. What's especially nice is the handy zipper carrying bag with handle. It's not too bulky - it fits the shakers snugly and is easy to pack and carry.Six spices are plenty to do most decent camp cooking. I personally filled mine with salt, pepper, cinnamon, cumin, rosemary and oregano. This covers most tasty breakfasts, lunches and dinners. I wouldn't even try to cook without this set unless I was backpacking and really had to minimize.Every time I take this on a camping trip, someone always asks me (with a bit of envy) where I got it. If you do any outdoor cooking - or even in your backyard grill - I highly recommend this set.

I ordered this to give add two of the shakers to a gift basket. I am going to use the other four for my household use. It's hard to find shakers with big holes in this size. I'm a pepper fan and the shakers have larger holes. Kit is ideal for someone who bar b ques. I also plan to use shakers for powdered sugar, cinnamon and other spices. Carrying bag is well made. I will be going back to Amazon looking for Wealers products. This kit would make a great Christmas, birthday, bridal shower or add on for food basket. Well worth the price.

Spices can leak out unless it's kept upright as we found out when we unpacked our luggage on vacation. Lids should be more airtight to not only keep spices fresh but to keep them in the containers. It's a great concept but the quality and functionality is lacking. I'd love it if it had tighter sealing containers and a practical labeling system at the same cost. Until then....it's just okay.

I was so excited about this item! I love camping but I'm also an organization freak. The bag is nice., well made. The canisters are a great size. Keeps all the spices I would need for camping neatly together. I used my label maker to mark each one, otherwise it would be impossible to know what was inside each them.My only recommendation would be for the company to provide labels for those less obsessive than I am to have their own label maker.
