Okay product for the number of pieces you get for the price, but only good for ultra light/light tackle. Tested 10 pieces each to destruction. Smalls can handle 5 lbs, meds 8 lbs, lg 10 lbs.

I bought these thinking they would work for dry flies, but they add too much weight and the flies are unable to float. I was trying to find something fast for my father who is having a hard time seeing the line to tie flies onto. They are very tight and it’s a bit of a struggle to get the hook on. There were also several with the eyelet not sealed that I had to throw away. I gave it two stars for not disclosing its inability to be used by dry flies and the quality of the snaps that was sent to me.

Was looking forward to having a quick & easy way to change flies while fishing. I ended up destroying the flies trying to get on and off the clip!! Actually had to use me Leatherman to hold the clip to remove the original fly & connect the second!! One thing for sure, the clip isn't likely to unbend when you catch a fish.

These seem to work pretty well and are strong. The only problem that I had with them is a few (I didn't check all 150 of them) don't have the loop part completely closed (part that your line goes through). I discovered this while trying to tie one on some small line. I thought that I was missing the loop but actually the loop wasn't closed allowing the line to slip off. Just inspect them as you use them. For this price/quantity you can't beat this deal.
