I have only used it once since purchasing, love the smell and the way it made my hair look and feel. So love the fact my hair has no purple tint! NO PURPLE

I use this shampoo every time I wash my white hair and it has gradually removed almost all of the yellow. It doesn't have that awful purple stuff found in other shampoos. It leaves my hair shiny and soft.

I love the purple shampoo and the shampoo for gray I alternate and I love the conditioner my only problem is the conditioner is very thick I dropped the bottle while trying to get it to come out and the bottle broke. I also dropped the shampoo bottle because to much came out and also broke I believe your bottles need to be drop proof. Still give it five stars!

Good product for silver/gray hair.

hair does feel soft and has a shine to it didnt notice much of a difference in the color.

I have not had a problem with other whitening or "purple" shampoos. I have always alternated non-yellowing shampoos with regular shampoo. This product smells nice and does a decent job though, for me - and I have white, white hair - it does not totally eliminate yellow, though it somehow does seem to brighten my white hair somewhat. It also gives/adds a little body, but it seems to strip the curliness/waviness. What it does not do is really clean my scalp. I must couple this shampoo with another cleaning shampoo. That is too much cleaning for my fine hair. So, this is a mixed bag for me. I will have to experiment a bit more, but I doubt I would buy again.

Really does help my hair stay white and has no odor

My experience with this product is that it's all hype. I had streaks of yellow in my hair. I read the reviews and was excited about the possibility of the yellow being lifted out. I purchased Nutritive Shampoo back in January and the conditioner a little later. From January until May I used the shampoo consistently. It did not do anything to calm down the yellow in my hair. There were other annoyances as well. The cap broke the first time I used the shampoo, and the conditioner was so thick I couldn't get it out of the bottle without throwing it on the shower floor and stomping on it with my foot. This squirted out far more than was needed--a big waste, just like the products themselves especially for the price. There is nothing special about this shampoo--certainly nothing to set it apart from any shampoo you might pick up at Walmart. I have a better solution that worked great for me. I bought a purple mask for much less money. Every month or so with my hair still dry, I slap it on the yellow streaks, wait 15 minutes then get in the shower and wash it out. It works beautifully and is much less messy and more precise than purple shampoo. And I have yet to accidentally end up with the purple hair the the Nutritive people warn about.

Absolutely love it!!! I decided to replace purple shampoo with this sliver shampoo as I no longer want to have purple streaks, though it's very nice and I received heaps of compliments. This shampoo enhance my gray hair making it shinny. Love the silver streaks!!!
