Great design
Great design and made well. Great value for money. Weight is good and size is good.

Perfectly Happy
I can't tell you why, but my dog loves these things. Compared to expensive toys that last a week they hold up pretty well. Not the best for winter because they get hard and break.

NOT A CHEW TOY. Smaller than actual birds but close for training.
I had the mallard and dove (which has doubled in price) version already, but the woodduck is ever so smaller than the mallard. Even though they are about 1/3-1/4 smaller than an actual duck they are a great training tool (not chew toy) to get dogs used to the look of a duck instead of a bumper. I haven’t had a problem yet, but I can see one in the future as the string wears out there is no way to reattach the head, but they are cheap enough to replace at $20ish. The picture is 2 wood ducks, a 3” drake retrieve-rite, mallard, dove, and 2” flasher bumper for comparison.

Great tool!
Great tool for training. It doesn't hold scent very well, so keep using wings and canvas dummy's too. Gives realistic bird retrieves.

Great For Training
So, first impressions you would think it wouldn't hold up. After Owning for a few months now i will say it holds up better than the reviews give it credit for. the color and the body itself has held up really well after throwing it with a launcher making it go 100 yards or so surprisingly it has held up to numerous of these throws. The body has held up very well with my dog having a soft mouth.

Works well
My GSP pup took to it well. Don’t leave it out as a toy one of my other dogs ate the head off it. Didn’t break the rope just completely ate the head.

dead duck
I liked it. But the dog used it as a chew toy and had it dismantlement and rendered useless in about 2 days.. So if you use it as a training device, then it works great. But if you just let your dog have it for a chew toy, it wont last at all.

The rope WILL get chewed in half
I've now purchased this item twice and have the exact same experience both times. The rope, holding everything together was chewed in half making the item worthless, in a matter of minutes. The first instance I thought it was my fault because I should be more aware of the duck and not let it happen. The second time, I thought the same thing, but quickly realized this is a huge flaw in the product. The rope is thin, non-durable, and has zero protective covering. Considering its only use is to be in the mouth of a dog, it makes the entire product worthless.I deeply regret spending my money on this and hope everyone can heed this warning! BTW, Avery does not answer messages asking for a refund.@Avery I demand a refund for this product and will not stop spreading this message until I get my money back!
