The best and only yacht rock book
This is a really nice read and I love that it is broken up thematically rather than solely by band or chronologically. The anecdotes and commentary by artists, producers and yacht rock adjacent people on the scene is great. I liked jumping in and reading a few pages or a chapter at a time and coming back to it. I play in a party band that runs many of these artists I. Our set lists and I love the why behind how the songs were written or produced, making it more interesting to play them out live. The binding and printing is really high quality as well which is a plus too.

The Yacht Rock Book: The Oral History of the Soft, Smooth Sounds of the 70s and 80s
Very nice book. I have not finished reading it yet but the quality is great and I ordered it used. Very happy.

Still The One That Can Scratch My Itch!
I have a feeling that most of us who grew up listening to the music described in this book have never even set foot on a yacht. We heard it in the backs of station wagons and at the roller rink and anyplace AM radio was playing. Whatever you choose to call it, it’s great music and this a great book.

Great book for fans
This is a terrific book for anyone with any interest or memories of music of that time. Some big big names interviewed here--along with many less known, but still crucial, important players. Easy, fun read. Very well done.
