Donner DB-3 Guitar Pedal Board, Aluminum, 20 x 11.4 x 4 in, Bag

I ordered the Donner DB-S200 pedal board based on my positive experiences with other Donner pedal boards I have ordered in the past and still use. Those boards were a great mix of affordability and quality and so is the DB-S200! First and perhaps foremost, I have to emphasize the amazing quality of the padded carrying bag that comes with the pedal board! It is the best pedal board carrying case that I own by far. Not only is it very well made, but the backpack straps that are stored in a zippered compartment were a wonderful addition to the case. I own over 5 pedal boards, and I can honestly say that if I need to travel somewhere with any of those pedal boards, I will be doing so with the bag that comes with the DB-S200! Another unique and awesome quality of the DB-S200 is the system it uses for power supply attachment. My major critique of my earlier Donner pedal boards was that they did not have a cut-out that was amenable to mounting standard pedal board power supplies to the underside of the board (I have found ways around this critique, but they are not ideal). In contrast, the DB-S200 has a large cut-out that will accomodate any pedal board power supply, and most importantly, a strap to secure the power supply to the board (in combination with velcro attachment to the board itself). I feel confident mounting any of the power supplies I have to the board using this system. The board itself is welded metal and appears to be very sturdy. The sides of the board are made of plastic with handle shaped cutouts for lifting and carrying the board. Although the plastic sides of the board contribute to its lightweight, this is one area for potential improvement I would point out. Though I am not terribly concerned about the sides breaking, I would feel more reassured of their sturdiness if they were made of metal (as the rest of the board). Finally, the board comes with velcro attached to it, which is a really good thing, because the unique cutout between rails of the board for wiring would be very difficult to cover with velcro if I had to do it myself. This was a very nice attention to detail. If I had any other minor gripe, it would be that I would have personally preferred for the board to be a little wider (which could have come at the expense of it being a little less tall/deep). But, this is an idiosyncratic gripe that may not apply to others. Luckily, I've attached pictures, one of which filled with pedals so you can judge for yourself whether the dimensions of the board would work for you! I would recommend this board to anyone looking for a well-designed pedal board, with an amazing carrying case (yes, I love the carrying case :) )!

This pedal board is great, I saw a couple of critical reviews and it made me a little skeptical. Once i received it, I quickly realized that it was a great purchase. The bag quality is good, I saw several people talk about how there is no protection for there pedals when they are transporting their rig around. That is true, there is little protection for your pedals, but the bag is simply meant for ease of movement. The side pocket is big enough for a couple cables, extra velcro etc. If you are a gigging musician then for heavens sake you might want to buckle down and get a road worthy case. All and all the bag feels sturdy. As for the longevity of the bag I couldn't really tell you, Ive had mine for a week. Moving on to the board its self, It is light weight, sturdy, it sits level, and comes with enough velcro for the top three rails, but not enough for the small bottom one, and the bottom rail has a different width so you will have to buy more velcro and possibly modify it, but I don't have a need for velcro on the bottom, so no problems with that. I find the angle in which the board sits is very nice, it feels a lot better playing with the wah and volume pedals on the rack opposed to the floor. I was able to accommodate a full size cry baby wah, a volume pedal of the same size, and 3-4 normal size delays or distortion pedals. I was extremely satisfied with my purchase, and will be buying more of them in the future.

The board is sturdy, and the size is good for 8 pedals, or more if you have mini pedals. The bag is a tight fit, you have to be careful when taking the board in or out. The bag is good for occasional use, if I played out regularly, I'd get a padded case.

I read the reviews, read about some of the quality issues both with the board and the case - but I still decided to take a chance. I am glad I did!! I have been using it for nearly 7 months and no issues at all. The bag has held up well. It is a little tight getting the board into the bag but it does fit and holds a fully loaded board. The outer pocket is great for extra cables and such. I ordered and installed a Truetone CS7 under it - it fit great! I had to modify the brackets by straightening out the 90 degree bends but - no issues at all and it is very securely fastened to the board. I purchased some zip ties and mounts to keep the underside neat - definitely recommend this to anyone looking for taming loose cables. I did have a couple of areas around the welds where the grinding was a little aggressive and left a couple of divots but the velcro covered this completely. My only complaint is that the glue on the velcro doesn't hold very well to the pedals - especially the rubber base. I did find that if the area is prepped by cleaning with a little alcohol on a cotton ball it does stick a lot better. All in all - I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive yet sturdy alternative to a PT board. The price can't be beat and it is a very sturdy and (when all is said and done) well built.

I have 3 larger pedals and a 4 smaller ones fit to this board, with room for a couple more tiny ones (like Donner's usual fare). I had been using a small sheet of plywood wrapped with carpet, but managing the cables was becoming increasingly difficult and navigating to the on/off switches with my foot around those cables was getting treacherous. I already had the hook/loop stuff on the underside of my pedals, and since this board delivers with the carpet already on it, switching to this board was a snap. As a board, this looks to be up to the task, but I haven't gigged it yet. The bag that it arrives in is a tight fit (before you add any pedals to it) in terms of length/width. The zipper pair have a means of adding a small luggage padlock, which is nice, and inside the bag is a snap-click board retaining strap to hold things snug during travel. There is a mesh bag area inside the cover (for cables?) and pair of small outer pockets. I paired this board with the Donner power supply that fits into the space facing away from you when using. When combined with this board, managing power, power cables and signal cables is all managed easily. I now have one wall wart plug for suppling power to all of my pedals and one outbound signal to route to the amp. Totally liking this set up. UPDATE: I've had this for long enough to use it quite a bit. I play out around once a week, so the board and bag get some use. So far, the bag has been up to the task, showing no signs of wear. The inner mesh pouches are perfect for holding longer instrument cords, extra patch cables, even a microphone. I can fit an iPad in the outer pouch for when I get called into a gig with little notice. I got the biggest board, and for some smaller stages where it already feels like you're playing in a freight elevator this board at 22" across is too big. Since I bought it, 3 of the 4 rubber feet have fallen off and disappeared. So that sucks. In the end, my needs changed and I don't need to hold as many effects so I'm actually back to my old carpeted plywood, but still using the bag. I encourage you to layout your pedals how you want them, measure the dimensions and order accordingly. I just ordered the biggest cuz I didn't want to run out of space, and then found it's taking up too much. 30-June-2025 update: I continue to use this board and continue to play in different spots once a week or more. For a while, I stopped trying to get the board out of the bag for stage use, and that worked okay, but not great. I returned to removing the board and setting onstage... and now discover that the bag is starting to come apart at one of the corners. This is after the bottom-side hand strap separated from the bag. I remedied that with superglue. I expect I will be replacing at least the bag, if not both the bag and board, with something more travel-capable. This is nearing end-of-life and it's been a little over a year. Your mileage may vary, but I suspect it won't by much.

I decided after some months of using pedals without a pedal board that I needed one to make setup and take down much faster, now that my public performances are increasing. I looked at many reviews and descriptions of pedal boards online, but I didn't want to spend the often more than $100 that seemed standard for this item. Finally, I found the Donner pedal board, clearly a clone of the Pedaltrain Metro 20, but at $30 less. The Donner board is serving me well so far. I have been able to fit the following on the board without any problem, from left to right: a Nux Modcore multieffects pedal, a Joyo digital delay pedal, a Diamond Nine Zero Two overdrive pedal, a Joyo DynaCompressor pedal, and a Cry Baby wahwah pedal. They are velcro'd to the board, which I leave in the bag that comes with it (as pictured with the produce description), and just unzip the bag on stage, plug in my cables and the power source (not included with the board), and I'm ready to go. I have had no problems with the pedals staying put on the board, but I leave it in the horizontal attitude and just pick it up that way and lay it on top of my other bag (with cables, etc) when I have to move it. Not sure if the pedals would stay put if you turn the board vertical, even with the velcro; of course, if you use ties, they would likely stay put. My version came with velcro (which is adequate but not first-rate) but no ties. For my purposes, the Donner board has been just fine, and I would recommend it to any performing guitarist with a small number of pedals. If you have more than five (or at the most six), it will likely be too small, unless they are mini-pedals. Hope that's helpful.

I was looking for a smaller, secondary pedalboard just for those pedals I put through the FX loop of my amp. I didn't want to jump on board the PedalTrain and be out $200 for a board and some power. I bought this board and the Donner power supply (https://www.amazon.com/Donner-Guitar-Supply-Isolated-Output/dp/B00WHLLDWO/ref=pd_bxgy_267_2) and couldn't be happier with the results. This board is the perfect size for four to five pedals, plus the power supply. Though you could fit more, it'd be tight with the patch cables. The adjustable center support allows you to really ensure the right fit for your pedals. There's plenty of included Velcro tape for the board and for the pedals. One thing to note is that I'm used to a soft, fuzzy board and the hook-style velcro on my pedals. For this board, it's the opposite. The soft, fuzzy stuff goes on the pedals and the hook-style goes on the board. Ultimately, I think this should keep the board cleaner. There's enough room between the three rows and supports and under the center row to hide those tiny power cables running to the pedals. I plan to just use a bit of black electrical tape to secure them on the underside of the board. The pedal board itself is solid, but not overly heavy. While for years I've typically used a large board with lots of drives, a wah, a whammy, and on and on, with this new setup I could rely on my amp's two channels with its footswitch and still bring a variety of tones to a gig.

Would have given it five stars but I have a donner power supply they implied would be an easy mount on the board. It was not. It also includes the cheap Velcro and not the 3M variety. I did replace the Velcro and locked in everything on my board. The board when I got it was $58 which is prettt damn good.

Klasse, macht was es soll und die Tasche ist auch brauchbar. Nobrainer.

Plenty of space to add extra pedals as I need to. The included gig bag is a real plus and there as enough velcro tape to mount my power supply underneath so the power cables and patch cables are not in contact.

El material no es malo, cumple su función pero no me veo de bolo en bolo moviéndome con esto. No en vano, por su precio he quedado bastante satisfecho. En mi caso, he comprado la de mayor tamaño. Como bien dicen en otros comentarios, la funda me resulta algo endeble, pero no está mal tampoco. El velcro que lleva adherido de serie el pedal board, si cambias y mueves pedales va a ir despegándose. Si tienes muy clara la configuración (probar primero), este problema no lo vas a tener. En mi caso entraron dos fuentes de alimentación y un porrón de pedales que cambio con frecuencia y que voy necesitando para mi estudio de grabación. No la usaría para directo (aunque en directo llevo solo 4-5 pedales). Os dejo fotos, por tamaño, la de mayor va muy bien, ojo si pesan mucho tus pedales, pero está bien.
