Nice rocks! Only a few broken... but hey....they're rocks. Most with good color. Most at the upper end of the 1 to 3 inch range. Thanks to the previous reviewer who suggested using a varathane (outdoor) coating if you want the rocks to shine. I "painted" 120 pounds of rocks and it only took a couple of hours. But be sure to rinse and dry your rocks before applying the varathane.

My hubby thought so had lost my mind when he heard I was ordering rocks! He was very impressed with quality then super impressed with price after he thought he would pick up more at a local rock supplier. He came home and told me to order more. I ordered 4 bags and probably need 3or 4 more bags for the planter area I am doing. They look great both wet and dry!

We really enjoyed these for painting rocks. They were a perfect size, color, and smoothness to create some really beautiful art.

These are good rocks pretty big kinda pink solid rocks like from nature smooth on outside only one i remember was broken in two. I could see inside and see some crystals of some mineral in the one that was broken. Not sure what mineral but looked kinda square so maybe feldspar (orthoclase). Anyhow just using them in a drain to prevent erosion and I think they'll be good for that (wife had removed previous ones that were there in order to support a bird bath).

If you can get it around the $10-12 range, go for it. One rock was split in half but others were fine. I was hoping to find flatter rocks but it's fine the way it is. New to planting but hopefully putting rocks on the surface of the soil will help keep the soil moist from the heat and won't affect the growth of the lemon tree. Rocks look better when it's wet. I put some rocks on the bottom of the pot (below the soil) for better water drainage as well.

I bought this brand and type of stones at Home Depot months ago. I love them, lots of pink and speckled stones, with a very warm tone. They have disappeared from Home Depot, much to my chagrin, because I wanted to expand my pathway with them. I was thrilled to see them here. Very disappointed that the stones are mostly gray. A few pink here and there but nothing like how they were at Home Depot, despite being in the same bag and labeled the same. They have a limit of four bags per customer (Which is annoying… But if you have a friend with an Amazon account, you can easily circumvent that). Every single bag has the same mostly gray rocks. I mean they’re pretty enough but they have a very cool tone, not at all the warm tone that I purchased at Home Depot (see photo—top shows previously bought stones, bottom shows new ones). I will keep them but I am bummed that they are not the same. Plus the price per bag is a good five bucks higher than what it was at Home Depot. I will just move them all around, I guess...but why the color change?

I wanted to create a small border on some wildflower beds. I used the larger rocks from this as border, and used the smaller as "mulch" around some feature plants. Very happy with the results.

These stones were a great bargain. The stones varied in size. I wish there were more of the bigger ones but it’s okay, the color was beautiful. Highly recommend!
