This is a very nice set of watercolor Pencils
This is a very nice set of watercolor Pencils. There are 72 pencils including in the set. The pencils are made from recycled wood and nontoxic pigments so they are environmentally friendly. Since the colors are water soluble, you can use a damp paintbrush for blending and shading your coloring for water coloring effects. As a bonus, they include one with the pencils. They come in a metal tin, which I am not a fan of even though they have individual slots for each of the pencils. I would prefer (and have purchased separately) a canvas wrap to store the pencils in instead of the tin. In my opinion, it’s a little difficult to get them out of the tin sometimes. This is a very nice set, but for me, the tips are not as flexible as a couple of other sets I have, although they still color beautifully. They do sharpen nicely when needed and I have not had any problem with breakage. They color smoothly and evenly. They are rated as professional grade. This is a nice gift for those in your life that enjoy coloring, like I do. It’s a good value purchase, worth their cost and probably more.In exchange for reviewing the product and giving an honest analysis, I did receive a discount when purchasing this product. Decent pencils for the money
These are pretty decent pencils. To start, they come in a very nice tin (think Derwent, Renoir, Prismacolor). I opened the tin, and was slightly disappointed to see a few broken tips - Amazon's fault, as they packed them in a huge box with some of those great big air bubbles. Still plenty of room for movement there. A bit of sharpening with my good sharpener fixed that. The pencils aren't numbered or have color names on them, and they are grouped really strange (see my pics below); it almost looks as though you get 2 sets of the same colors. I immediately set about rearranging them into a setting that made a bit more sense to me. I then swatched them so I could show the range of colors, and feel how they laid color. They seem to be a decent enough mid-range pencil, neither super-soft, nor really hard. There was one fairly scratchy one (the very first peachy colored one), and all of the blues, greens, and grays are fairly soft. The rest fall somewhere between there. There is a nice range of colors, with no repeats. They do have a huge amount of browns, and I would have liked to see a couple less of those, and maybe a couple more grays. I'm going to use them in place of my Marco Raffines for a few days (those are my go-to, traveling pencils), and see how I like them. I'll be using these to learn how to do the watercolor thing. They did break up really easily when using the brush, so I don't anticipate any issues there, other than my own limited skill level with the brush. These do seem to be softer than the Raffines, for the most part. All in all, I'm pretty happy with them, as my biggest issue with my other mid-grade pencils is that they tend to be too hard, and these are a bit softer. This is my initial review of them, unboxing and swatching, and I'll be coloring something with them in a bit to add to the review. If you are looking for something to experiment with, and try the different things you can do with pencils, these seem to be a pretty good choice for the price. I have a feeling they will probably be added to my Raffines as my travel pencils, and I'll just have more to choose from.I received these pencils at a discount in exchange for my honest, unbiased opinion.

Love the colors.
These watercolor pencils are wonderful. the amount of colors that you get allows you to really run the colors and do a lot of shading. I can use them solely as colored pencils or use them as the water color and add a little water with a brush or que tip and they come together into one fluid picture. It comes in a nice tin so I keep them all together and not lose them. Also helps me to keep them separate from all the other colored pencils in my house that my kids like to get into. These are for mom unless I give them special permission. I received this item at a discount for my review.
