I did NOT receive this product for free.
I always have a lot of doubts when purchasing a 5-star product where every reviewer got it for free... However, since I spent $100 on my first bottle of Melissa/Lemon Balm oil, I figured $20 was not a huge risk. I noticed most of the reviewers didn't seem to know what they were talking about when it comes to essential oils, with most of the reviews focused on the smell and the "reported properties," and not on how well it actually works. I'm hoping this review will be helpful to those who are a little more experienced with essential oils.I will echo all of the freebie reviewers in saying, this oil really does smell great... but I don't think you'll notice the same potency as with other higher-quality oils. I'm not saying it doesn't work, but I will say I didn't feel the need to dilute this brand when applying to a canker sore. Melissa is one of the most powerful oils and usually causes irritation when not diluted, but this one didn't quite have the kick of others I have used. It doesn't appear to be pre-diluted according to the description and label, so it most likely is simply a weaker distillation than other brands.I am not a proponent of any one brand of essential oil and it bugs me to death when people are. My box is filled with countless high quality essential oils of all different brands, but I would not label this as one of the "high quality" ones. I will still use this product, but I don't think it gives quite the "bang for your buck" as other brands. If you are looking for a stronger version of Melissa oil that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, I would recommend looking at Healing Solutions. Although I am a seasoned user of essential oils of 10+ years, I would not consider myself an expert- however that is my personal opinion and the brand that I buy most often and will continue to buy for this particular oil.As I said, I will still use this product, I just think you can get a higher quality/stronger distillation for a similar price elsewhere.

THIS Calms, and Mitigates Blood Pressure and Hormonal Issues... with Science Nerd RECIEPTS!!;)
I was little put off and suspicious by how (relatively) inexpensive it was...After all, pure essential Neroli oil is supposed to be really costly, so imagine my surprise and delight when the oil arrived (well packed, and on time) and my preliminary test, and nose tell me that this is the real deal! :) Also, in the time that it has taken me to write this review, I have been testing it, and it really does seem to work on creating calm and lowering blood pressure...but I will update with new info. The scent is gorgeous!! The effects are still to be determined, because I've not yet had sufficient time to FULLY evaluate performance..., but here is what it's supposed to do...;antidepressant, aphrodisiac, antiseptic, bactericidal, cordial, carminative (flatulence reliever) , cicatrisant (skin healing), cytophylactic (beneficial to aging and mature skin), disinfectant, antispasmodic, deodorant, digestive, emollient, sedative and tonic substance"...this info is according to Dr. Axe's site. Here is a bit more info...Study #1:“Effects of Inhalation of Neroli on Menopausal Symptoms, Stress, and Estrogen in Postmenopausal Women: A Randomized Controlled Trial.”(Published in ‘Evidence Based Complimentary and Alternative Medicine, Epub June 12, 2014 – the complete abstract is included at the bottom of this post).According to the research, compared to the control group, those inhaling neroli showed significant improvements in sex-drive, lowered blood pressure, lowered pulse rate, and serum cortisol (a stress hormone), and estrogen concentrations. They conclude “These findings indicate that inhalation of neroli oil helps relieve menopausal symptoms, increase sexual desire, and reduce blood pressure in postmenopausal women. Neroli oil may have potential as an effective intervention to reduce stress and improve the endocrine system.”Study #2:“Aromatherapy for reducing colonoscopy-related procedural anxiety and physiological parameters: a randomized controlled study.” Published in the Journal of Hepatogastroenterology, 2010 Sept-Oct.A randomized controlled trail was carried out and collected in 2009 and 2010. The participants were randomized in two groups. Aromatherapy was then carried out by inhalation of Sunflower oil (control group) and Neroli oil (Experimental group).Participates in this study were 27 subjects, 13 in control group and 14 in Neroli group with average age 52.26 +/- 17.79 years. There was no significance of procedural anxiety by STAI-S score and procedural pain by VAS. The physiological parameters showed a significant lower pre- and post-procedural systolic blood pressure in Neroli group than control group. In another recent scientific study that I researched before ordering, this little oil has outperformed Xanax for calming social anxiety and anxiousness. Yep, that's what i just said... Don't take my word for it. Google it.This oil is derived from bitter orange blossoms, (from the same tree that produces bergamot fruit, but this is made from the flowers, not the fruit) It's name and fame comes from The Princess of Nerola (near Rome), who made it famous by making it her signature scent... She scented her gloves and clothes with it and added it to her bath religiously.I might just have to start wearing fancy girl gloves, just so that I can scent them. ;)I receive NO DISCOUNTS or freebies for my reviews.

Don't waste your moolah!
Yuck. This does not smell like true neroli. I knew it wasnt legit due to the price, but took a chance because some of these "knock-offs" are okay for diffusing or diluting in a carrier oil. It smells terrible, and very synthetic. Worse when diffused. I thought maybe I could mix it with my various citrus' for a homemade "citrus bliss" blend. NOT bliss. More like blech! Bummer because it wasn't THAT cheap. Do not waste your $. Save up your sheckles and get the real deal.

Smells ok, terrible bottle
Smells ok. Very disappointed in the bottle though. The stopper doesn't work. When I tip it to get drops, nothing comes out. Contacted seller and they told me to take the applicator off and just pour - terrible idea when using it for diffuser jewelry. Wont be repurchasing.

Smell is not what I expected...
I'm not sure how to rate this... I purchased it specifically for skincare only. I am having a hard time tolerating the smell. This is my first experience with Neroli oil, so I only have read what the scent should be like. The oil I received smells horrible. I have diluted in carrier oils as well as a shea butter base, it lessens the odor but it's still not pleasant my any means. Disappointed, not sure if it's rancid or not....

Amazing oil with a heavenly scent
Excellent oil! Packaging and delivery was great and I absolutely love the follow up service. Cajeput oil by Natural Acres smells divine, minty, clean, and fresh. I brought this to mix with my camphor, menthol, lavender, eucalyptus, and wintergreen essential oils to make liniment for pain relief. Natural Acres neroli essential oil is also amazing and smells heavenly. I highly recommend both products. I will be purchasing both items again in the future from the same manufacturer.

Great scent to relax with!
Purchased this oil to help me manage my stress and anxiety. I like to inhale the scent, and I might try it with my vape pen. It has a lovely floral and slightly fruity scent. A little bit goes a long way to help calm my nerves and leave me feeling refreshed.
