A dozen exquisitely-crafted, exceptionally-sung songs shimmer with the myriad emotions the band has been through - restlessness, regret, love, heartbreak, hope & acceptance among them. Now all in their early 20s, the band have spent the last 3 years of their lives touring with Hozier, Jake Bugg & others on the heels of their widely acclaimed 2013 debut, Absolute Zero.

Brilliant and beautiful album
Brilliant and beautiful album.Stevie Appleby's voice is as hauntingly heartbreaking as ever, and Faye's voice here just blows me away, it's so commanding and compelling. Some of the guitar work has a dark surf guitar reverb to it, it's dreamy and gorgeous.So many great songs that it's hard to pick favorites, but I've had The Song They Play Every Night in my head for a while now. Other standouts are The Garden of Death, Clair de Lune, I Don't Even Know Who . . . but there's not a weak track among them.

Ephemera has made it's way into my top 10 albums of all time. It's easy to listen to but carries such emotion and depth throughout the entirety of the album. Faye and Stevies voices are the perfect guides through this story, from start to finish. Yeah, it lyrically, it may break your heart at the beginning... by the time you get to the end, it's such a cathartic feeling. You'll want to listen to it again... and again.. and again..

One of the absolute best EP's, I've ever listened to. THESE GUYS ARE SO FAR AHEAD OF THEIR TIME....I've listened EVERY DAY, since arrival.10/10 stars.... In complete, and utter awe. 'This Irish ♧ band tells a story with each song, pulling you deeper & deeper into a fascinating, listening experience. You won't be sorry. *It's truly amazing.

Great new band discovered
Wow, stunning album from a band I just found by accident on Spotify. I listen to music continually with a very wide taste although love my American rock if pushed to give a favourite genre, but this album is real grower for those that like grown up music!! It's hard to fit into a category but I suppose I'd describe it as emotional and gentle indie rock. One track in particular, the garden of death, sounds so much like supertramps Roger Hodgson, no bad thing in my mind! A stunning album on continuous play at the moment.

Very good band - difficult 2nd album - but love them - like Arcade Fire, when they were good and didn't get all overblown.
