We have a window above our primary shower that needed privacy without blocking natural light, and this window film was the perfect solution. It completely obscures the view while still letting in soft light, and it gives the window a clean, upgraded look instead of feeling purely functional. Installation was quick and easy. I trimmed it to size with a snap-off blade, cleaned the glass, sprayed a light mist of water, applied the film, and used a plastic scraper to remove bubbles. It repositioned easily and went on smoothly with no wrinkles. The finished result looks professional and high-end, and it solved our privacy issue instantly without replacing the window or adding curtains. Great quality, easy DIY project, and a big visual improvement for our bathroom. I would absolutely recommend this product and would purchase it again.

I bought the longest length and width and it did both doors to my slider. I am so very happy! It was easy to apply and allows me to leave my curtains open to get full day light and eat at my table without worrying that neighbors are looking through my windows. The pattern is pretty and when the sun hits it in the afternoon it creates a pretty prism effect.

This is the way!! Wanted window tint to help cut down on the heat and electricity costs here in sunny Florida. I purchased 3 different brands to cover the amount I would need along with the opportunity to compare those 3 brands. My decision to purchase 1 single roll (17.5x 78.7/Black-Silver) of this brand was due to the included tools. Whats remarkable is this was the best brand among all 3. All brands cost about the same but the other 2 brands came with no tools. This film is noticeably thicker and much easier to separate and apply. The reflective properties also appeared superior over the 2 other brands I purchased. I also had less challenges with the curl of the roll translating. Once I removed the protective sheet, the film became universally pliable. I did notice that at night , if the inside lights are on, the inside is easily visible from the outside. Thats not a gripe but important for some to know its not really 2 way at night. For me the night time 2 way visibility is a plus. For added privacy, I can always pull my curtains closed at night. When the installation was done was it perfect? No! It rarely ever is!! I have a lot of experience applying vinyl decals to windows using a very similar install process and understand no matter how well you clean the surface, bubbles are just part of it. Following up removing bubbles and trimming to a perfect fit are again just part of this no matter what you buy or how expensive. So that is to say I don't at all blame the film for the understood challenges getting it just right. But I do complement this film b/c it was far less troublesome and noticeably thicker. The included squeegee and razor cutter were crucial as I initially planed on using a credit card and an exacto knife. I did try both and neither worked nearly as well as the included squeegee and razor knife . The razor knife has a very appropriately shaped blade with a long and narrow diagonal angle making it easier to get inside tight corners and locate the window frame to trace finishing trim cuts. Very very nice touch!!!. I knew installing any tint on these windows wouldn't likely end up in a perfectly flat image un noticeable to the human eye. The house is old, the windows likely 60 + years old, the battle for absolute perfection is too steep and not worth the trouble in my opinion. What I wanted was a decent and inexpensive attempt at dramatically cutting down on the radiating heat entering my home. And this so far has exceeded my expectations!! Aesthetics were far down on the list though I did try my best to reduce the bubbles as much as possible. So Yes a few bubbles remain mostly around the edges but Im ok with that as they can be removed over time with follow up maintenance. Its my home not a store front or neighborhood patrolled by HOA retirees with nothing better to do but nit pick. I would like to impart some suggestions that might help anyone brave enough to have read this far down. Removing Bubbles: You may find some bubbles just won't press out despite multiple attempts. Or some bubbles may appear after a few days/weeks. You can easily remove stubborn bubbles by poking a small pin hole in them. This will let the film flatten out and they aren't noticeable at all. Easy fix if nothing else works. Cutting:. Yes the razor knife was very very useful but a rotary razor blade will make those long horizontal cuts far easier to accomplish over trying to hold a razor knife steady as it travels along the cut line. Also if you need to cut from one edge to another, start somewhere in the middle . This will prevent your cutting from dragging the entire piece. Example Middle to the right. Then finish by going middle left. Cutting from the middle will help prevent your cuts from straying off course and help keep the film still on the glass. Removing bubbles:. Have patience . Yes its prudent to get as many bubbles out as soon as possible. But some just wont press out right away. Let the sun evaporate the remaining water and try again after a couple of days. Projects like this can take a few days/weeks of follow up maintenance before it fully settles in. Especially if you're doing this on old and weather beaten windows. You must keep periodically checking on them and pressing out or poking pin holes in stubborn bubbles. Vinyl Plotter/Cutter. If you have a vinyl cutter like a cricut etc and it can handle your needed dimensions. Your a fool if you don't use it. You may have to increase the cutting pressure so some experimentation may be required. But you will get absolutely perfect sized and shaped cuts. This can dramatically cut down on the labor, time, and frustration of doing this part by hand. My vinyl cutter is down so I had to do my cutting by hand making this project take much longer and much much more frustrating. Im very happy with the results and the included tools which are crucial if not mandatory for this task!!! Save some dramatic failure in the coming months. I stand by my 5 star rating as the quality, value ,and performance just can't be any better. Especially at this price point of 8.99 for 9.56 square foot of coverage. I might just buy more and over time swap out the sections from the inferior brands. You can do it, take your time, get the right tools, and don't let time constraints infect your will to do this the right way. It won't ever go as planned. Take your sweet time and let needs of the project dictate the time needed. If you start rushing things, the frustration will pile up. One section at a time and it will likely take longer than anticipated. Thats just part of it. Good Luck.

First of all, this film is absolutely gorgeous. It catches light and changes beautifully in a prism-rainbow fashion throughout the day. It's taken a normal, boring sliding glass door and transformed it into a wonder. The security factor is about 9/10. You can still see shapes and shadows outside, but that's about it. Natural light still filters through nicely. Looking in from the outside, even up close, you can't really see much. Bonus points for that. My only frustration is with the actual application process itself. YMMV, as I was covering very large slider doors and so smaller windows may not be as challenging. I have applied similar water-based window film to other windows in my house, but that kind was a bit thicker and easier to cut and manage than this film. It is not flimsy by any means, but be sure to have a step stool or another person to assist. My recommendation for larger windows is to put the whole thing on and use an exacto tool to trim off excess material. All in all, I love it. It looks amazing and I feel better already just having the extra security there.

I highly recommend these! We just remodeled our kitchen. We have a west facing window that totally blasts us with a harsh afternoon sun and, although I've had blinds/shades there over the past 30 years, I really liked the simple, open feeling of the no-window-treatment look. But that sun! Ugh! I taped a brown paper bag up in the window (rme) out of necessity and that's when it hit me! What if the bag was PRETTY? What about a window cling? 🤔 My search brought me to these. I ordered both the clear and grayish colors to see which one I liked best. I was pleasantly surprised by both! These don't require glue or adhesive to stick - just a little bit of water - which was perfect because I DIDN'T want anything permanent. I made a template using computer paper taped together and easily cut the vinyl to size using my handy-dandy kitchen scissors. The clear one is prettier (just my opinion) but the grayish (also pretty!) did a better job of actually blocking the sun. They look JUST like the advertised pictures. Even though I'm using grayish for this project, (pictures are of the grayish ones installed) I'm keeping the clear for the six small windows in my cottage-style front door for added privacy. :) I love when something you order works out better than expected! TL:DR: This stuff works at a basic level, does not adhere overly well over time (just days even). If you need a quick and cheap solution, sure this stuff works. If you want a high quality, more permanent tint, find something else. You get what you pay for. This product is very cheap, and there is a reason: the quality is pretty cheap. While it is currently serving it's purpose fairly well of limiting the ability to view into the window panels on the garage and minimizing the sun (I can only assume the UV aspects advertised are being fulfilled), the numerous reviews stating folks had issues with bubbling and wrinkles/lines in the material are spot one. I bought two rolls to cover all the windows on the garage door. On the first roll, I didn't notice it right away when installing, but when inspecting the install, there is a clear vertical line down the tint from the piece that was closer to the end of the roll. It is very evident in the window it was installed on. The second roll had it as well, but I planned the cuts differently knowing it existed and was able to just barely avoid it and cut it off. Following all instructions, it took quite a bit of work to eliminate all of the air bubbles and keep them from re-forming, but every few days I have new air bubbles form and on occasion a corner or edge bubble up and start to peel. The adhesive is very weak on this stuff and the bubble battle will not likely end until I decide to upgrade to a better quality tint.

I can’t get over how lovely this is! Being able to let the light in while covering up my broken/gross window is so nice. Not to mention I can leave it open at night so I can leave stuff on my windowsill. It reflects light super nice, and doesn’t block it! Easy to install. Only con that I have, the size I got does not have continuous patterns, so you can kind of see the seams. But It’s not super easy to notice luckily. Crazy cheap for how nice it is! (Definitely follow the instructions for installation by the way)

Really lovely design, and looks stainglass and sometimes the angles of light give color to the flowers. Only downfall was that the design had a couple of creases, but don't really show up from a distance. Adds beauty to the window while still being opaque enough to not see through people only see blurred figure.

Great deal for one! Looks amazing and was very easy to install. Colors are so pretty when the light hits. Very much worth it! Keeps our great danes from barking so much!

J’ai acheté ce produit pour installer sur les vitres de côté arrière de mon minivan (van life). Facile à appliquer en suivant les instructions. Le fait que le produit soit vendu avec les outils nécessaires est très apprécié et aidant. La seule partie plus difficile est de séparer le film noir de l’endos transparent avant l’application mais c’est réalisable avec de la patience. Je recommande ce produit.
