Teeth Whitening Strips, Peroxide Free, 9 Treatments (1 Month)

I have fairly white teeth but am always envious of those lucky people with bright white teeth naturally. I tend to go on kicks with different whitening products and have VERY sensitive teeth. I have a bad habit of waiting long enough I can convince myself that Crest strips won’t be that bad (I’ve found them to be the most effective at whitening). I’ve tried the kind for sensitive teeth and have found they still make my teeth sensitive, they just don’t work as well, so naturally, I go for the strongest option as I am a glutton for punishment. A few hours later I am inevitably miserable and cursing myself. After reading reviews and doing some research I decided to give this product a try. I was really impressed to see significant whitening, and brightening, after a single use. Easily as effective as the crest strips. They do not adhere as well as Crests strips but after a little adjusting they stayed on fine for the 30 minutes. The flavor is mild and more pleasant than Crest strips. The only negative was that when I took them off there was a surprisingly thick layer of gooey gel residue on my teeth which required brushing (without toothpaste) and rinsing several times. The instructions say not to eat or drink anything for 30 minutes after use but I can’t imagine how you could avoid brushing and rinsing. You will want to use these at home or somewhere you have a toothbrush handy. Aside from that minor inconvenience, I am thrilled to have found a product that works quickly, effectively, and doesn’t cause sensitivity. In addition, they are significantly cheaper than Crest and the Snow whitening system I’ve used in the past (no sensitivity but not much by way results). One tip, they are harsh on your lips so I would use Aquaphor as a barrier. Overall, I am very excited to have found these.

These are AMAZING!!!! My wife found them based on a recommendation from a friend and honestly we would've been fine with just a little improvement in the whitening of our teeth, but these strips blew our minds!!! Immediately after the first use both of us noticed a massive change and then we used them for 5 days straight and our teeth look incredible....now we're moving to once a week maintenance with possibly adding an extra session if we're heading out to somewhere special and want that extra boost. I can't believe how effective these are and both my wife and I never got any sensitivity or any pain after using them. They're super simple to put on...although they fit my wife a bit better because she's smaller than me and has a tinier mouth so she can wrap the strip right over her teeth to get some extra whitening/cleaning behind her smile whereas I can only get them to cover the front of my teeth since my mouth is bigger. That's not a complaint at all just an observation for anyone interested. We only put them on for about 30-60 minutes and then you need to give a good rinse and gentle brushing to remove the gel....But our teeth have not looked this white in over 30 years! And only using them once a week after the initial first 5 days makes these super affordable and they last a long time. I highly recommend these if you want something that actually works without the harsher chemicals.

3:13 June 5 , 2024 I applied the initial application . I brushed with sensodine tooth paste & dried my teeth prior to the application . After fighting & getting the top film off the backing I easily applied it however the bottom film is a little trickier to apply correctly . I jumped into the shower whe while washing my face I could feel both films sliding on my teeth while salivating more than normal . The top stayed close to the applied site but the bottom wrapped around the back of the bottom teeth . Plus I'm thinking the front of the bottom teeth are uncovered . Almost 30 minutes in & I can feel a peroxide like unwanted sensation in a couple of my 71 year old back teeth . 32 minutes later the top film was pretty much where I put it however the bottom film was indeed covering the back of the bottom teeth . The remaining residue which some discribed as snot & the taste wasn't all that bad . After rinsing I brushed again with Sensodine & baking soda which removed said snot . While it's the initial /test run I highly doubt any change in color but the teeth that were treated feel extremely clean . I'm doubting this product will have the anticipated results , so that's why I gave 3 stars . Day 2 results to follow . Day2 , brushed , rinsed with Listerine & dried my teeth before appilying the strips . Left them on for the 30 minute period & this time they stayed where placed due to inactivity . Again I felt sensitivity in my worn down back teeth . Removal of the strips & cleaning of the teeth was not too awfully bad followed by brushing & more Listerine . I'm thinking that I'm seeing a difference that Crest 3D whitening tooth paste didn't help with . The tooth paste works more on coffee & tobacco stains . Day3 , same as day2 except I used my lower jaw night guard to keep in place the lower strip . A great suggestion by a previous reviewer . Again with the 30 minute procedure & again with what I would say is better results . My teeth do infact look & feel brighter & cleaner . The tissue whiteness test does NOT do any justice so far , but I'm happy with the results . Tomorrow's another day . Days 4 , 5 & 6 were pretty much the same results except the time of application changed . Enough with all of the step by step info , the results so far after 6 applications are that my teeth have experienced a definite & noticeable change in the shade or color . I wish I had a dental color chart & also had taken pictures of my experience to be able to chart the before & after results . Having been a dental lab tech 53 years ago I can still compare the results & say that my teeth are at least 4 shades whiter . I'm 71 , I don't drink coffee or wine nor smoke so I don't have any staining from that . So I'd have to say if the person smokes or drinks any of the mentioned products their results should be much better . I'm raising my review to 4 stars also reordering another box for future applications .

I really appreciate the ingredient quality in these whitening strips. I specifically wanted a peroxide-free option because I feel more comfortable using something that’s gentler on my enamel, and these definitely check that box. The strips did noticeably whiten my teeth after consistent use, so they do deliver results. My biggest complaint is the removal process. Every time I peel the strips off, the leftover residue sticks all over my teeth and it feels pretty gross. I end up having to brush immediately afterward to get everything off. Because of that, I honestly dread the process of putting them on. Overall, these are a good option if enamel safety is your priority and you’re willing to put up with a less pleasant removal experience in exchange for effective whitening.

Lumineux whitening strips do work!! You need to follow the protocol to have the treatment last. And I'm sometimes in a hurry. But, I read 15 minutes is even ok for a quick touch up. That's a very good touch up. I know I get better results if I make the strip go into my cracks and crevices on some of my crooked teeth. My family had 5 children. My mom took us to the dentist but actually braces back then were for the affluent people. I am old now and thank goodness I've never had a cavity. Neither did 2 of my brothers. But a sister and another brother had cavities and problems with their teeth. My sister got married and didn't need braces but her teeth due to genetics turned yellow with age. She used Zoom because she could afford it, and it looked nice, but it didn't last. Nothing can last forever. But, using this product, even though, if you stop, it won't last either, will make you (and don't worry about other people seeing your teeth) very happy! Because you look in the mirror at yourself maybe 100 times a day and seeing your white teeth is a feeling that boosts self-confidence, thus self-esteem, and your mood will be more positive, true, and you'll feel more outgoing. There are actually too many, attributes to list. But this important point, no doubt, has made its mark. The most important point is how you see yourself and more importantly, feel about yourself. White teeth is only a " fix it" solution. Inside your head you need all of these affirmations about yourself. You need to start at beating depression down. Even if it is mild, this kind of depression, the kind inside your head that looks for all your faults, and you look at all of them excessively. Bad "self talk" will ruin so much of the good talk that you can't stand up to it and take charge of all your good God given traits that will move you forward in improving your self-esteem. I found that to help my self-esteem was to say "Yes, my teeth are crooked and yellow. I'm embarrassed by how I look. It really makes me feel bad!" So, being much older gives me wisdom on how best to strengthen my self-esteem concerning my teeth, and do something about it. Money plays a part here, too. Therefore, I saw the commercial on TV and looked it up. And I read about it. Then I bought the kit. Money was no problem for this. There can be hundreds of products out there that claim the same things. I received my package and immediately used it. Haha. It did work!! I was very impressed!! Lumineux DOES work!! Once, I was in a hurry and in as little as 15 minutes I was stunned to see actually whiter teeth. Man, next time I used it close to 30 minutes and was thrilled at white teeth! Once I just did the top teeth very quickly. And later I used the left over bottom strip on my top teeth. I made that thing fit and work. And it did. I don't want to waste anything. If I forget or can't use it as I like, I know I can catch up. What I want is to have very white teeth when I'm talking or smiling or laughing. And I know I can achieve that with my whitening strips. I wish I could afford the clear braces. But, they cost at the start, at least $5,000.00. I wish I could afford that. But, I know I would be on a payment plan for the rest of my life. (I'm exaggerating.) Yet, if my teeth look good and white I'll be happy. I have to decide on financial priorities; and, it will be my Lumineux white strips that take the top of the list. It's better to have the white teeth (albeit some bottom teeth are crooked) than to have yellowish teeth. And yes, to never have had a cavity up to age 60 is good, but nobody looks inside my mouth for dental work unless it's the hygienist or dentist. Yes, and that's a plus for me healthwise. However, and I stress this; Having Lumineux Whitening Strips make my teeth whiter is going to win, for me, every time. And that's even if I wore clear braces. Braces DO NOT whiten teeth. So, I've already bought another box of my whitening strips. I don't want to take pictures of my teeth or give my name. I'm telling the truth. And It has to be on trust that what I'm saying IS the truth. And I'm happy about this. Now wouldn't it be wonderful if they made good, Clear Braces infused with Lumineux whitening?? And while you wear them for the duration, your teeth become straight and white together in a happy relationship!! How wonderful. Someone will think of that someday and bring the cost of those braces way down. And a scientist will find a way to infuse Lumineux into the clear braces. So, I am hoping people all ages buy Lumineux to try and boost their self-confidence and be happier than before. I am happier about these ridiculous teeth than ever before just due to Lumineux. Unlike Crest strips, which use peroxide, Lumineux is peroxide-free and focuses on more natural ingredients like coconut oil and essential oils, so I didn’t experience any sensitivity at all . That alone makes it a great option if your teeth are prone to irritation. That said, the results are more gradual. While Crest Whitestrips tend to give faster, more noticeable whitening because of their stronger bleaching agents, Lumineux works more subtly over time. I did see improvement, but it wasn’t as dramatic or as quick as what I’ve experienced with Crest. Application is easy and comfortable, though the strips feel a bit softer and slightly different in texture compared to Crest. They stay on well enough, but not quite as firmly. Overall, if I had to choose: Crest is better for fast, dramatic whitening results Lumineux is better for sensitive teeth and a more natural approach I personally like having Lumineux as a gentler alternative, but if you’re looking for quick, high-impact whitening, Crest still comes out on top.
