Sensationnel Synthetic Empress Edge Custom Lace Front Wig - STRAIGHT (DXT1B/RED)

Okay, not recommended for those with fat heads or those of the "hefty" persuasion, if you catch my drift. I have a large head and thick, shoulder-length afro hair, and sometimes with wigs there are "gaps" in the front when I put it on.... and this one fell victim to that.The front part of the wig needed to be stretched to fit me so a few curls would fall along my face, but then leave an awkward gap near my temple.THAT SAID--This wig is gorgeous! I've ordered many a synthetic wig and this was by far the most lustrous, buttery looking hair I have ever held in my possession. Has major shine that doesn't look synthetic but instead looks healthy and full of bounce. Would look absolutely gorgeous on someone with a smaller head or at least shorter natural hair.

1B is super dark, I can't imagine anything darker than this color. Actually I bought another one of this in 2, and it is still super dark. So colors run darker. The cap is awesome, it's a mesh throughout, so it is super comfortable, and you don't worry about tracks showing. The density is definitely 150%. OMG very thick wig. I decided to keep it for fall, because it's too dense and warm for summer. I think this wig would benefit from added layers. I haven't tried it myself yet. I wore it as is a few times, and I felt like it is just too straight. I like wavy one better from these custom lace wigs series. Cap size small to medium. I had no problem adjusting the cap size down to my small size. It comes with combs and adjustable straps. It has nice realistic looking parting, and nice strip of lace on the front for parting.

I will give it a love it for right now. It is still new. the real test is seeing how long it actually last. When you get it, it looks very wiggy, so you do have to make some alterations. It did not come with those beautiful laywers in the photo. mostly just straight black hair. i watched a youtube video on how to cut layers into it, and now it is a lot more realistic. I also cut some hair off the part and used concealer to make it look like a real part. I washed it with wig shampoo, just to get some of the chemical shine off. it has the texture of relaxed hair. i am liking it so far, but it is only day two. i will know more in a couple of months if its a good product. if not, it was only $35 so i can buy another one.

The wig was beautiful but as soon as I took the wig out and tried to put it on the lace ripped and the wig cap is HUGE!

This wig was amazingly gorgeous. I bought the color 2 - Dark Brown. I wore it out a lot, these pictures are after about 5 months of wear. I ended up cutting the lace after a few months to make it into a U-part kind of (I don't suggest doing this, I'm just weird and I was experimenting). I think I trimmed the ends a bit too, I flat ironed it often.

Head

I am so sorry but I didn't like it very much. I may have gotten a bad one, because I have watched many YouTube videos of reviewers saying how much they loved running their fingers through the hair. Mine gets caught every time. :(Pros:It's well made.It's got a great parting. Superb.I adore the interior stocking cap.Great soft lace.It's my perfect length, cut, color.... It looks good! I'm in love with the way this wig looks on me.Perfect for special occasions only.Cons:It tangles up every 2 hours.It sheds like crazy.The actual hair texture was rough. Not at all like the other Sensationnel Empress wigs I have had in the past. That's why I think I got a bad one. Not even a hot iron can keep this hair tamed.Not for daily wear.Otherwise, it's a great basic lace wig you can cut and style anyway you choose. It looks great. But it wont last very long because of the shedding and the texture of the hair not flowing correctly. At least, mine did.

I usually only purchase silk top full lace wigs that cost just shy of $ 400.00. I cannot believe I purchase this wig on amazon for under $ 50 and I love this wig. It is not wiggy looking and only requires minimum prep work to wear and go. I purchase color 2 (Dark Brown) and it looks good to go.
