I’ve been using this night cream for years, and it has become a staple to my sensitive-skin routine. I love how soothing and moisturizing it feels on my skin, especially at the end of the day. It gives me the moisture I’m looking for without making my skincare routine complicated. I’m a longtime fan of Burt’s Bees products, and this is one I continue to purchase because it works so well for me. I also appreciate being able to get it through Subscribe & Save so I can keep it on hand without having to remember to reorder.

I have been using this product for 10 years strong. I’ve recently gotten my husband to start using it over his other product. It does not dry out face, does not make your face oily, and does not cause acne. I order this every month.

I bought this moisturizer on a whim when I needed some but didn’t know what to buy and was pleasantly surprised! I usually buy expensive moisturizers but decided to try this out. It really feels like it’s sinking into my skin and moisturizing it. Some creams feel heavy or just sit on top of your skin until you wash it again. But this one really feels like it soaks in almost instantly. I’m in my 40’s and like a lot of moisture but (lucky me!) I still get pimples and can get irritated too, so I can’t use just anything on my combination skin and get the results I want. Most creams for sensitive skin are too light for me. But I can honestly see this cream working for all skin types- even oily. There’s not much of a smell and even though it’s a night cream, it is a bit thick but not super heavy or greasy. I use it day and night. I’ve never even heard of cottonseed oil before- the magic ingredient in this- but leave it to Burts Bees to come up with something great! ! I love that they use natural ingredients, glass jars instead of plastic and are environmentally conscious. If you’re on the fence and aren’t sure about this I’d say to give it a try. Burts Bees usually makes good stuff. I will buy this again.

If you're expecting anything like Burt's Bee's lip balm, give up. This feels just like other not-very-thick lotions when you put it on your face, except that it stays wet. Perhaps there's enough wax in it to melt a little when it comes into contact with body heat, but it stays on, feels light and comfortable on the face and remains wet to the touch. Strange feeling, but it did soften my skin after using it for a couple of nights. The reason for my less-perfect rating is that I'm a side-sleeper, and I actually got a little paranoid about wiping it off on the pillowcase whenever I slept! That continuing wetness is good, I guess, but it's strange. I caught a cold while testing it and did put in on and around my nose and lips a couple of times when they got sore from wiping. Although I couldn't seem to feel it on my skin, I couldn't stop touching my face lightly to see if it still felt wet! My nose and lips never chapped.

As someone with incredibly sensitive, dry skin, finding a face lotion that is genuinely gentle on skin has taken me literally years. I've used every brand under the sun, and this is the only night cream I've ever used that did not burn my skin or eyes. Very neutral scent and leaves my skin feeling moisturized in the morning without a greasy, heavy feeling. My only complaint about this product is the consistency of the lotion itself. The first time I purchased it, the cream was somewhat thick and creamy and worked wonderfully. The last 2 times I've purchased, it has been incredibly runny and almost seems watered down, to the point when I opened the lid, a lot of the product splashed out as if I had spilled a cup of water. I thought maybe it had gotten warm in transit or separated so I gave it a stir and stored it somewhere cooler, but unfortunately no change. I am beginning to wonder if this is just a fluke or a different formula. I will probably wait for the price to drop before justifying giving it another try. It still works, but not nearly as well as it used to.

This leaves my skin soft and subtle with no rosesea breakouts. Highly recommend.

I found this not as creamy as I normally like my face creams. Bit light. No reaction to my sensitive skin though which is great. If I get too close to my eyes or accidentally rub my eyes it stings, which hasn’t happened with my other creams. I rub my eyes a lot due to allergies. I finished the bottle but won’t be buying again.
