Total garbage! Don’t buy it if you value ur hands!
First time using this item & the poor quality showed immediately. I went to grab something out of the oven & the cloth immediately burned & came apart right where my hands were (see photo). This is what I get for being lazy & not taking my butt to the store. Can’t return them either because “This product is garbage” isn’t a listed reason. What kind of pot holder burns when you apply it to heat? I almost burned my hand!

Please use these with extreme caution!!!
Warning....do not use if making tater tots!!! (Zero star ratings should be allowed )So I went to pull my tots out of the oven and my hand was burning from the intensifying heat as I attempted to detach the melting pot holder from my pan whilst trying not to toss my tots. These are cheap and might be okay to use as actual pot holders. Like holding the handle of a hot pot. Just, please save yourself the burns and don't take anything out of the oven.I ended up melting 3 of these darn things to my pan. (Did save the tots if your curious.)

First new Potholders in Many years
My wife has been using the same potholders for many years (30 plus.....but don't tell anyone) that we had gotten when first married. They are starting to look tired so I thought I would surprise her and order a set of new potholders. The price on this package was very reasonable and the pot holders are just slightly smaller (maybe 1/2" in each direction than those we have been using). The material is fine, the quality seems good, the pot holders are a little thinner than those we have been using , but they still function as you would expect. She has added these to the "potholder drawer" and these are being used. She likes them and says they are "just fine' and that's what matters. I like the bright red color. They have the loop on the corner if you desire to hang them, but we never have. Functional and the price was hard to beat. This pack of 10 was the price of a couple of individual pot holders at the local kitchen store. These are fine for grasping handles, etc. If you are going to carry pans, etc and have large hands, its probably better you get the gloves as when these are folded they aren't sized for large hands. At less than $1 each, the value is hard to beat and the quality is better than I expected for the price.

OK for Microwaving but must wash to soften
I was looking for simple quilted cotton hot pads and I thought I had found a real bargain in these, judging from the picture on the web site and written description. And they do look like the picture.. The material is some kind of cotton blend with maybe an acrylic fiber, and the batting inside is firm and not very giving. If you don't watch you could burn yourself. I've edited my review circa 4-4-18 and added one star.. They soften up after the first wash and are much more useful. I was gathering things to throw away and accidentally washed one. I now use them for microwaved items. I would refer to more negative reviews for performance at higher temps.

comfortable size, but too thin and holding a strange odor
My old potholders were worn out and I had been unable to find anything locally that was not large and unwieldy. I have small hands, and don't want to wrestle with enormous potholders. It took a while of searching even on Amazon to find anything close to the size of the potholders I was replacing, but these come very close. They are a very manageable size. The only drawback is that they feel too thin. In order to protect my hands from the heat of the items I take out of the oven, I will have to use two potholders as one. Not ideal, but workable. They emitted an unpleasant, mildew odor when I removed them from the package. I've washed them, but the odor clings. I'm hopeful another washing with vinegar will deodorize them.

These are not heat resistant; buyer beware!
Use it to pick up a hot pan but do not set a hot pan of any sort on these lousy pot holders! I set a hot pot on one, did a couple of things then removed hot pot from the pot holder to return to cook top not realizing that the pot holder was singed to the bottom of my pot! Do not trust these, had I not noticed as quickly as I did I would have had a fire in my kitchen. Not only was the pot holder ruined but my wonderful pot is destroyed as I could not get all the singed fibers off the bottom of my pot and I'm still trying to clean my flat cooktop two days later from these horrible pot holders; DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE POTHOLDERS!!!!!

Quilted Pot Holders that really skimped on padding
When I opened the plastic bag and felt one of the hot-pads, I first thought that the inside insulation was omitted. The "quilt" padding or insulation barely feels 1/8 inch thick. I considered stitching two pads together making a set of 5 hot pads out of 10 to salvage this purchase, but decided to return the 10 hot-pads, unused.I just looked at other buyers' photos of melted pads. They don't look all that heat resistant.
