How does this product compare to Colgate PreviDent 5000?

It is much lower in fluoride ppm. 1000 pm instead of 5000 pm

Is it okay to use this after using a fluoride rinse?

I have used this for 3 years. First I brush the teeth with the Gel-Kam. Then I use the fluoride rinse. DDS says teeth stronger and gums better than they have ever been.

What is the expiration date?

Fluoride does not expire. The reason toothpaste states do not swallow or contactthe poison control center is due to the soap in it, sls, not the very small fluoride amount. It is a natural ion found in most soil and water.

When did this tooth paste became an over the counter buy and not by prescription?

I don't know. I used to buy at Walmart but it was not on shelves. I had to ask for it. I now order on Amazon.
