Assignment 6/92020 ELAAlexander the great was born on 3022 BC his father was king Philip and was a very wise and brilliant king or ruler. he was taught by Aristotle. He turned pink because his father was killed by a soldier. Then he turned king and went to go conquer after a little but he got married was a woman that was a princess to a ancient tribe. He conquered most of Persia and conquered most of Egypt in a little bit of land I was not Concord and he called those lands Alexandria after himself. Then on one of his worst battles he was injured by an arrow in the chest but was not killed. Then after a little while trying to get back to Alexandria he was poisoned by his generals and friends. His dream was to conquer many many many lands and his soldiers and his friends were dying and getting injured so they need to stop his dream from happening. But one of his generals took his tomb.

My 10 year old loves these books!! We are taking a trip to Greece this summer and he wanted to learn more about Greek history.

I bought a bunch of Who Is books for my 8 yr old. He hates reading. I chose things I thought would be interesting. We read this one and it held his interest which means it’s good. I read along with him and I enjoyed it as well. I’m learning a lot from these books! They need a Who Is for adults.

Great book for elementary history. My 7 year old son enjoyed reading this, although I think some of the subject matter is a little mature for second grade.

This whole line of books is great. I love sharing this book and the series with my son, very informative life filling information

These books are great for my third graders! They use these for their big biography projects and they offer tons of great info!

Easy read for my 3rd grader explaining more about who Alexanderthe Great was.

Certamente sarò solo l'ultima di milioni di persone che usano e conoscono questi librini, ma devo dire che anche io adoro questa serie. leggerli ai miei figli o per preparare qualche gita su luoghi di interesse (Colosseo, Partenone...) o per preparare qualche ricerca è sempre una chiave vincente. Le informazioni (da buoni americani) vanno dritte all'osso e in più ci sono brevi approfondimenti anche su tematiche correlate di interesse (ad esempio la Viata quotidiana della civiltà romana…). Le vite dei personaggi storici presentano sempre un episodio particolare che attira la attenzione e la memoria dei bambini.lettura scorrevole e piacevole.Certo l'unico neo è che sono inglese. peccato.
