I was looking for something for my nephew for his upcoming 50th birthday & wanted something a bit unusual. After much thought I decided on this. I have to say I am thrilled with it! It’s unusual, stylish,very good quality & the wooden pen & presentation box are beautifully made. Very reasonably priced for the quality. Two extra refills for the pen are a bonus too. It’s the perfect gift & I’m sure he will like it.

What others should know? Well I think that a lot people experience new pens and find them scratchy. There is a reason for this. Because modern pens are water based they can dry out and or leak. So manufacturers put a small blob of wax onto the nib of the pen to prevent drying out and or leaking. Thus, dear fellow Amazon Buyers... This is why some of the reviews on here say that the pen is scratchy and doesn't run properly. I only discovered this myself a short few months ago. So upon buying a pen I found that the manufacturer had cleverly put red wax on the nib so it was obvious that it was on there. So using my fingernails and old cloth... I found the pen to write out on paper very well. I'd also like to add that I think the same applies to the refills as well. Remember remove the wax and hopefully you'll get much use out of your lovely new pen. Truly hope this has helped my fellow Amazon pen users 👍🏼😊

Well, designed, well made and excellent value for money. I was charmed by the online appearance and functionality of the pen plus box/stand. When received, I was even more impressed. As it was sent as a gift, I cannot comment on its use, but await comments from my nephew. All I can say is that I would have been delighted to have been sent it.
