Will this magnet pick up a 2X3 inch piece of paper with a large paper clip on it?

Hi Diane, I did my own test based on your question. It will pick up a 4 x 6 File Card that has a small paper clip on it. It will pick up 2 sheets of 8 1/2 inch by 11 inch copy paper. I tried to pick up a file folder with a small & then a large paper clip. It could not lift that. These magnets are great. I sew and am in a wheel chair. Have them in every room. They are wonderful. Great quality. Great price. Hope this helps.

These are made of plastic so I would not think you probably shouldn't. They are very strong magnets and my kids love them.
