These were my challenges, and I am so thankful that Dr. Gordon showed how to change those habits and make them "non-conscious" actions. Brilliant. Review: Not a good resource. Don't be fooled by the promotion. - This "book" is so poorly written that the paragraphs don't even hold together as continuous thoughts. It's a collection of random thoughts. Many "paragraphs" are one sentence. Lots of errors in the text; spelling, repeated words, omitted words - apparently the Dr/PhD doesn't think he needs an editor, though he would do well to employ one. Whole paragraphs are repeated in subsequent chapters, I assume to make it appear that there is more content than there actually is. Anyone with a memory will pick up on this multiple times in the first 30 pages (maybe the good doctor believes our memory insufficient to pick up on that). The whole book is a ploy to get you to go to the website where you will be ask to spend more money to play brain games. Bottom line on the advise given in this book - Practice makes perfect. If you want to make a change, envision it and practice it. My grandmother taught me this when I was in grammar school. And she didn't need a PhD to know that. - I think this book is self-published. The diagram quality is poor, the margins are off, italics and quotation marks are used inappropriately, etc. Very, very unprofessional.

Interesting study....
I'm thinking it's nice new science but I'm too old for it to make much of a difference before I go horizontal

I am now a proud member of the Brain Revolution!
The concepts in this book have changed my life for the better. What Dr. Gordon teaches in this book are simple and pragmatic ways to understand who we are and what drives us at a base level. Knowing what I now know, I have a different perspective on life. I know how to improve my brain, and thus my life, with "small wins" every day. I have a different view of all of my relationships and I see other people's motivations in a different way. If everyone lived with a more brain-based way, there would be no more (or very little) arguments or misunderstandings. I have been training my brain with Dr. Gordon's MyBrainSolutions.com for 13 months now. I don't feel differently, but I notice things about me are much more improved. I am more confident and more organized. I clearly read and learn faster. I am calmer, I don't need to fight or argue with anyone anymore. I am much more at peace with who I am and where I am. It takes consistency and discipline to train on a regular basis, but the time and effort are worth it.

Dr Evian Gordon is one of the most esteemed neuroscientists on the planet. This book provides a pathway to improved brain function that will certainly enhance your life. Simple, easily learnt daily steps together with engaging brain games will reduce stress and improve your ability to manage anxiety each day. I listen to this book whilst driving in my car. It has been hugely helpful to me and I believe it will also be helpful to anyone else who listens to Dr Gordon. Just Google his name to see what credentials this guy has for such an important topic. You wont be disappointed.

There is no actual training
When I saw this advertised it showed a number of exercises that can be done on the computer to help memory. There are none. Mostly Doctors speaking about their knowledge and experiences with patients. Spoke about sleep, diet, exercise. being social and volunteering giving you purpose. Mostly nonsense common sense stuff. Certainly not worth $180.

Fascinating insight!
I loved learning more about how the brain works and how it can be improved. The Brain Revolution helped me identify ways I was sabotaging my own success and happiness because of certain nonconscious biases, behaviors, and habits I've created throughout my life. This understanding has helped me train and practice forming more productive habits. I highly recommend this book!

Great Begiinings but,
Started off interesting and then wandered off into sales and marketing. Was hoping for a deeper dive into neuroscience.
