Ok, not THAT CIA! We took a Hawaiian cooking course at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) that was amazing, and this salt was a featured ingredient. This was the exact brand they had on their shelves so it must be a good representation of this amazing salt as CIA is the BEST. It is delicious, adds an amazing je ne seis quoi to your dishes. This is definitely a IYKYK kind of thing, do yourself a favor and try it!! Great price, thank you Amazon!!!

Really like this red salt. I use it on many dishes when cooking, Use in jaring up garden pepper add a bit of red salt to each jar. Add red salt when making fresh tomato sauce in jars for the winter use.......Huge bag Great product , great price

This is incredible salt. It is even more full of flavor than Mediterranean salt. You also doooon't need much to provide the desired taste. I will definitely buy more in future. The price was reasonable.. Ther eis one thing of note. The pink color because of the clay can actually color the food, so if you are making something creamy or otherwise where you do not want a pink hue to be present, use another salt. Thjs is one of the best tasting salts I have EVER... had.

This salt is the best that I've ever tasted. My husband loves it to. We like to sprinkle it on about everything. The taste is so good.

It’s good, but you can’t use it like regular table salt. It’s very concentrated. It could be ground finer, which would make it a lot easier to use and control how much salt you’re using. I think we will be apt to use it in place of salt in recipes, as opposed to using to top on food.

I lived in Hawaii for almost 20 years. I loved getting the local alaea salt. I found Viva Doria after we got back home to the mainland and I love it. It's on par with the real hawaiian salt that we got on Kauai.
