I originally had this at 3 stars... First off this is beautiful and very well made. It feels heavy and of quality. Second this requires a CR3032 battery (because they do not provide one for you) - which no one really has laying around the house. But... I actually just replaced a battery for my watch and it required a CR3032 and when I bought mine at Wal-Mart they only came in a two pack. So luckily I did have an extra that I kept in my junk drawer.I am a very heavy person which is why I purchased this it has a limit of 400lbs my old one was only 300lbs and wouldn't work for me. For the first 3 days I stood on this and it gave me a reading fairly quick, then I waited till it reset and weighed myself again giving me a different reading, so I waited again and weighed again another different reading... I thought to myself Oh great - this isn't working for me. My fourth and fifth readings were the same - so I used that as my starting weight. Thought maybe it was a fluke so I slid it under the sink and try again the next day. Well the next day third and fourth readings were the same. I'm not sure if it is my weight giving me problems. But after about five days of using the scale it works like it is suppose to now. I still weigh myself twice to make sure the numbers are the same. After the first few days though this is a great scale! I think this should come with a battery though instead of having to find one for yourself. No one likes doing that. I have had zero problems with this scale after the initial few days. This is a good scale. It has an easy to read display even when I don’t have my glasses on. It also holds my weight just fine. The scale can measure in pounds and kilograms and stone by just switching the button on the bottom (see picture). It also looks great in my bathroom. It has a low profile yet still lets air under it as to help dry the floor for those times that water gets on your bathroom floor. The top of it is made of glass which makes it a breeze when cleaning. All and all this is a great scale. The only problem that I have is when it arrived it did not have a battery, and it does not take common battery, so I had to order a battery and wait for it to arrive before I could use the scale.

You have to step on and step off, step back on to get an accurate weight. When I step on the first time it gives a weight that is approximately 2.6 more than what is on the scale after stepping off and back on.

FIrst of all it was off by 10lbs.. i know both myself and my husband didn't gain 10 pounds over night. Secondly, it gave use different results every time we got on the scale.. To test it out, the first day we got it, we would step on on it, get a result, step off then back on to check it's accuracy and the result was something different by 3 pounds every time, or rather 13 pounds every time as it was already 10 pounds off. . And this was not a cheap scale either.

Its design would fit well with most any bathroom decor--even the most modern. The tempered glass top is nicely done and appears to be well made with no signs of burrs or defects.There is a switch on the back for selecting between pounds, kilograms or stones. (I must admit that I've never heard of stone as a weight measurement previously. Apparently, it is more commonly used in the U.K.) The scale is easy to get on and off of--not that other scales are particularly hard--but the extra wide, flat and low platform of the X-Sense scale really makes this process a very easy proposition.The LCD display is large enough to be readable even by folks like me with poor eyesight. The scale is claimed to offer, "precise measurements in gradation of 0.2 lb/0.1 kg." Of course, "precise" and "calibrated" are two entirely different things. Assuming this scale is accurately calibrated, that is bad news for me. I weigh three pounds heavier on the X-Sense scale than I do on our older Tanita digital scale!There are features that I wish the scale offered such as memory of prior weights, the ability to track weights for different people in the family and perhaps an iPad/Android app. But, realistically, if the scale did offer these features, it would cost considerably more than $50. Therefore, I have to concede that my wishes do not connect with reality in a moderately priced scale.However, I do have one real quibble with the scale. The X-Sense scale uses a CR2032 button battery and, unfortunately, that battery is not included. True, some manufacturers with battery operated devices that use AA or AAA batteries expect you to provide those batteries. I understand. Most people generally have these type of batteries laying around the house somewhere. But who in the world has spare CR2032 batteries laying around in their homes? Certainly not I--and likely not you either. You may want to order a CR2032 battery when you order the scale or be prepared to make a trip to your local store before it arrives.Okay, let's get serious here. Failing to include a CR2032 button battery with the X-Sense Ultra Slim Digital Body Weight Bathroom Scale is a serious inconvenience to customers. Every--and I do mean every--battery operated device that uses a button battery that I have previously owned has come with that battery. The X-Sense Ultra Slim Body Weight scale should be no exception. (Yeah, and I told the vendor so!)Now that I've gotten that off my chest, let me say that, battery aside, the X-Sense Ultra Slim Digital Body Weight Bathroom Scale is a joy to own and a pleasure to use and, all-in-all is a very good product. It has definitely found a permanent place in our master bathroom, (Sorry Tanita, but you have to go!)

1. This item requires a specific battery for use- this would have been useful to know at point of sale or better again a battery to be offered or included.2. This scales gives vastly differing digital readings that unfortunately makes it useless to me3. I do not accept that this item is fit for purpose with it variations in resigns it may well be producing weights for 10 people at random as each time I step on (trying at best to choose the same standing position) the reading varies considerably from stone to stone not just lbs4. Not as stated, keeps coming up with different weights every time you get on it.

Sold with body fat in title and they do not measure body fat, they only measure weight. Poorly worded listing!

Initially had a faulty unit that gave different readings every time I stepped on it. Received a replacement and that one worked as expected. Look and feel is pleasant, does what it is supposed to (measure body weight).

Lovely slim scales and a perfect colour. They are easy to use and a good buy
