Q: Anyone ever mix 8c and 7c?

No but I mixed 7C Terraotta with 4N - Natural Brown. Subtle red hue/highlights.

Q: Does it have a bleaching agent in it?

I don't think so - there is no bleach or ammonia in these products (I tossed the box but I think you can read the ingredients online)- these are almost entirely all natural. I think it "adds" color on top of existing.

Q: What color does this come out on medium-brown hair? The box looks red - is it red?

Yes it is a darker red on brown hair. I've used it for years and it is red over white and brown hair too

Q: How long does the color last?

I re-colored every four weeks. It lasted that length of time very well for a red dye.
