Do the seperate woofers and speakers play in stereo or is it one big mono speaker unless I buy two?

Plays in stereo it’s a great speaker I love mine use it at beach, camping and boating!!!

Does the speaker shut off automatically from inactivity?

Yes. It will say "powering off" within about 3 minutes if not paired and about 10 if it is paired. It's a wonderful speaker!

Can this be left plugged into the usb charger full time?

Because the speaker is Bluetooth, we do not recommend you leave it plugged in all the time. Only plug it in when it needs to be charged.

I would like to use my computer to stream music. does this connect to wi fi?

This does not connect to Wi-Fi it is a Bluetooth speaker so it will work with your computer as long as it has Bluetooth which most computers do if it’s a little more modern
