Nice compromise between a fan and an air con
Very useful appliance when the heat strikes. It is sufficient for getting a cooled down feel. It is not as cold as an air con but a lot more efficient than a fan, based on my experience. You can also add more cooling effect to this system by inserting a frozen block into the water tank included in the packaging. The remote control is a pleasant addition to it. For this price I cannot say a word of complaint. On top of that, there is a heating feature. It kicks off straighaway when it get cold in the room at a swing of a button. It is really a good gadget. For my part, I am happy about this. To those who are moderate not demanding too much, I can recommend this 4-in-1 appliance.

Reasonable multi-function device for the money
Don't be put off by not being able to remove the water tray - it's got a drain plug if you need to empty it (plus two spares). The "cooling" feature doesn't mist the water, like other water cooling fans, but the water is consumed and so is definitely humidifying the air somehow. The castors are a pain to screw in, as the holes aren't threaded for them. You have to apply some pressure to the castors whilst screwing them in, and they will bite the plastic. Whilst a spanner is included, it's just a stamped piece of thin metal, and the job is made easier by using a proper spanner. My first one arrived yesterday, which was broken and opened. A replacement was arranged easily enough (although the courier collecting this morning refused to take it, as he didn't have enough space). Today's delivery was in it's original box, strapped down securely (unlike yesterday's, which in hindsight clearly wasn't new, like I ordered). It's already replaced separate cooling and heating fans in my office, and it's keeping me comfortable pointed directly at me, whilst it's 24 celsius outside. Without a proper misting, I'm not sure if the cooling could cope with it being much hotter though. Having said that, it's not an air conditioning unit, so my expectations weren't that it would cool the whole room. With 1000W or 2000W to choose from for heating, I'm sure it'll keep the room warm in winter. For 50 quid, I think it's good value. When it's out of warranty, I'll be cutting the beep wire.

Not quite A/C but pretty good.
An A/C unit would be great, but the air vent made it unfeasable, so this was purchased as the next best thing... and you know what? It's pretty good! Don't expect the same low temp as an a/c but this is easy to operate, lasts a couple of hours between refills and gives a very respectable drop in temp... it isn't silent, but it is quieter than we expected. In truth we are very happy with it and at a decent price too.

Waste of money
This might have been the most disappointing product I’ve bought off amazon. This does literally nothing for you. During the summer when it was very hot, my room was constantly boiling hot and very stuffy. I then proceeded to search for something to clear out my room a little. Installing a proper air con was to trouble some so I search for an alternative. This is what I found and I was very excited for it to come. The day it came I installed it and put it straight to the test. I had this machine blowing out the coldest air it could. Sitting in front of it you can feel a breeze but nothing of significance. Even after hours of blowing constantly, my room was still stuffy and very hot. A £10 electric fan from Argos would most definitely done a better job than this machine. If you are considering this product, stop. Do not waste your time with this product, I would not recommend anyone spending their hard earned money to buy this.

Overpriced Fan?
I've had the fan for about a week now. Here's my experience. Pros - Not too expensive (But you get what you pay for) - Easy to use settings. Comes with remote also - Timer feature is ok but to be expected - Not too large Cons - They sent the wrong colour - Looks like it uses cheap plastic - Only 1 side of the fan actually blows out air so you only get half the fan size. - Cool setting doesn't seem to be any different than it being switched off. - Adding water doesn't seem to do much but it's hard to tell - I don't know if ANION mode actually does anything - Didn't cool the room down (But then again this isn't an AC) - Needs a mute button for when it keeps beeping I'd look around before buying this. It's an ok fan which MAY blow out slightly colder air. Still unsure about that.
