A good turntable.
For the price I was delighted with the sound from the speakers. Good turntable with three speeds 33, 45 and 78. Lovely to play all the old records again.

A decent casual turntable
I've been testing out quite a few of these lower-end turntables over the years and it seems that anything that isn't a Crosley is a safe bet. This Piccadilly model is in no way revolutionary (pun intended) but if you are a store owner wishing to pipe gentle tunes to the customers or if you want a small-ish player to sooth your colleagues at work then this will do the job just fine. For anyone looking to this for home use it would really only be appropriate for a teenager's bedroom as serious audiophiles won't find anything of value here. The build quality is low-grade plastic, though it does have a pleasing design and a clear plastic lid. The whole thing feels very light too, and the speakers do not use 3.5mm audio jacks but instead use the direct +/- wire, which is handy if you want to connect floorstanding speakers straight to this thing (but why would you). There are also component red/white audio jacks, which can be more useful to people with a basic set-up. It can even play 78s, which is something I only ever see on these lower-end players, likely because the target demographic (very old people) will not want to spend lots of money on a superior model. There is a pitch adjustment, for some reason, but as long as your records have a hole cut directly in the centre you'll likely not have problems with pitch. Bluetooth connectivity is also an option but I keep almost all of my hardware hardwired. Not as bad as the other reviews make out, just keep in mind that for the price you are not going to get the best, or anywhere close, player on the market. The album featured in the video is The Cutter and the Clan , because I am hardcore solid.

Excellent little record player
Considering the low price and small plastic speakers I was very impressed with the sound quality from this record player, I had to go out and buy Rigoletto just so I could listen to it with the pops and crackles that only records can give you, for some reason apart from being live there is nothing that compares to vinyl. The bluetooth connection was immediate and also sounded just as good as listening to it on my pods, this is a very impressive low cost record player, and the fact that you can add an amplifier or change the speakers at your whim is just another reason to be impressed.

Poorly made record player
From opening the box noticed that the product seemed cheaply made. The needle arm is so light it doesn’t sit on the record properly so doesn’t catch and bounces around making the record stick or jump. The sound from the speakers is very tinny. Had to return the item in the end as it just wouldn’t play the records properly.

plugging the speaker wire into the record player as that most certainly is a weak point
Bought for my daughter as her first record player, trying to set the item up was a bit fiddly trying to plug the speakers into the record player as where they plug into was very flimsy and awkward if I had tried any harder it would have broke, saying that my daughter loves it...
