A great looking collection of boats and ships, easy to assemble, fun to use in game
A balanced and good looking collection of boats and ships for Cruel Seas. Unlike the starter box, this set will give you some vessels the game classifies as 'Large', giving your opponent a target for all those torpedos the game has, and you some larger guns to shoot at the MTBs. Assembly is fairly easy, though the Flackship came slightly warped. That's an easy fix with a bowl of near-boiling water to soften the resin, followed by fixing and then a quick dip in ice water to lock in the change. Perhaps the only downside is that if you have the starter box, you'll double up on E-Boats, probably more than you're likely to need. As problems go, pretty minor.
