Really came in handy for our trip

I purchased this booked to plan Europe trips. This book gives a good baseline idea of the places to visit & things to do. But you still need to do online research if you want to be absolutely thorough. For example: If you look at Mallorca (Spain), the book has covered just a fraction of the western, northern parts of the island and a bit of the capital city, Palma. Eastern part, beaches etc are not covered. Another example would be UK: entire south west UK - Cornwall, Durdle Door etc are not covered at all.

Great book for plenty of facts about Europe.

Packed full of detail covering a wide subject matter.

Very informative and detailed. 4/5 stars because earlier versions with the same name have a lot more pictures and laid out slightly better. But I do think this book has more info in it. Just very black and white!
