Great product. It's fairly expensive but everything seems well made and I like the fact that they thought about an additional thermostat. Easy installation. When products like this install like they are supposed to and are high quality I don't mind spending the extra money. Well worth it.

The product was installed on a basement bathroom floor. You absolute need the Ditra Heat XL trawl or equivalent, spend the $28. Also note this stuff soaks up the thinset so plan for about 10 to 20% more thinset than normal Ditra. There is clearly a significant insulating factor with out the heat turned on. If you're going to install a heated floor on concrete or you need additional sound isolation this is the stuff you need. Go with Schlutter name brand products for your corners, thinset and seams so you retain your warranty.

Was available for quick delivery and much cheaper then tile shops in the area. Use a wetter mortar then you would expect to get the cloth backing to soak in and properly adhere. Also use a high quality unmodified mortar for concrete install to ensure proper bonding.

We love our heated floor. This product works very well. Its our only heat in a finished basement, keeps it plenty warm in Tennessee.
