BurgeonNest Dog Car Seat for Small Dogs & Cats Under 25 lbs, Blue

this seat is really handy. my dog is abt 12 lbs, and loves snuggling into soft spaces, so she loved this. she also has a more structured bucket booster car seat that is great for other reasons, but it’s not nearly as soft and cozy. more detail below (for those who want it). photos added to show color and size relative to a small dog. disclaimer/context for my comments - i use this in the front passenger seat of my car, and have never used it in the back seat. i’ve only had this during the fall/winter so far, so warm weather isn’t an issue pros: - one hundred percent more relaxing for my dog than riding on anything that’s not secured - leash/tether works perfectly to secure in her harness and the length adjusts easily - goes in the wash machine! - easy to take in and out of the car - takes up less space if it needs to move out of the way (i can jam it in front of the feet of someone in the passenger seat in a pinch, which i definitely can’t do with the bucket seat) - travels well - works perfectly as a dog bed outside the car, so pretty much dual-purpose - i like the colors a lot (i have the blue/whitish version, which is definitely more navy than bright blue) - the pockets on the side were useful for me. i’m constantly dropping credit cards, keys, and pretty much every small thing between the console and the side of my seat. when the dog car seat is next to me, i toss this stuff in the pocket sometimes and have saved myself fishing expeditions later 🙂. the outside pocket is great for leash, bags, etc - SUPER secure and doesn’t move when it’s locked in with the straps - fits in any seat, as it doesn’t need to lie completely flat all the way across to work well (again, unlike the structured, bucket/booster seats) - did i mention cozy? cons: - i don't love the look of the straps across the seat - for aesthetic reasons and because i am weird abt leaving indents in my seats (even temporarily), i prefer using a seatbelt to secure a dog car seat/bed. overall, this definitely shouldn’t deter a buyer who is interested. the dog loves this!

This dog car seat is amazing for small dogs! It’s soft, comfortable, and keeps my pup feeling safe during car rides. The material feels high quality, and it was very easy to install in the car. I also love that it doubles as a carrier, making travel so much easier. My dog settled right into it and absolutely loves it!

I’ve had the box sort of car seat that hung from the head rest for several years for my fur baby. It was time for an upgrade especially since we make long trips twice a year. When I got this it made me feel so guilty for not doing it sooner. My little fur baby deserved this. So plush and comfortable he loves it! Great quality and looks great. Fits our car seat perfect.

I think this kind of product will never be ideal no matter who made it. There are just too many different issues depending on the dog, car, owner, etc. It stays on the seat as it’s supposed to. My dog seems to like it quite a bit. The pockets on the side are handy for holding things like a leash, treats, collapsible water dish and poop bags. It’s good enough for me, that’s the short version. The long version: There is only one thing about it that I really don’t like which is the restraint it has. Really, I don’t think a single strap and clip would do much in an accident. It’s also a little long and that makes it a safety issue in my opinion. First my dog can get out of the car seat and sit next to it. While this does keep her from jumping into my lap while I’m driving (this was the main goal other than containing hair, so that’s why I still like the seat despite its shortcomings) I think it could be a danger in a quick stop or accident. It would likely stop the dog from flying from the car but she would probably hit the dash or the seat depending on where in a car you have it at. So for my purpose (driving without getting a dog in my lap) it works and I do recommend it for this if that is what you are hoping to achieve. Other than that I would probably just strap her harness to the seatbelt like I used to do.

This is a great option for safe travel for a mid size pup- our dog is 25 pounds and this fit him perfectly. Of note, the bed has multiple pillows in it and each pillow has a casing over it that needs to be removed for washing. This part is a bit tedious but I only had to wash because our dog got sick on a trip. The bed has held up very well and was a great purchase for us. It has a clip in it that we attach to our dogs harness so his secure in the car and safe- we love it!

While both my dogs hate going to the vet, they each settled down great in this comfy car seat - a real plus while transporting them after dental surgery for one and spay surgery for the other. My chihuahua poodle cross hated his last car seat (which honestly had hardly any padding at all) but he loves this one so much that I bring it into the house when it's not in use for his napping pleasure. It fastens in the car easily and the leash feature works well with a harness to keep my guys safe and secure while still giving enough leeway to change positions on longer trips. Although I thought it was a little on the expensive side at first, this turned out to be a great purchase. So far I haven't had to transport both dogs at the same time, but I may buy another BurgeonNest seat just in case I ever have to.

The snuggliest doggie bed! I love that you can take inserts out and wash bed!! My last one didn’t do that!

It’s fine, could definitely use more/better padding. I don’t expect much plush just because it’s Amazon, but for 50 bucks I should’ve expected a little more cushion. Our dog is about 20 pounds so it’s enough for her, but buying the large size I would imagine it wouldn’t be enough for a dog any bigger. Clipped in as it should, the belt straps that connect to your dog’s harness were extremely easy to loosen and tighten, to the point where a slight tug loosens it. Again, fine for my dog because she stays in place during car rides but I wouldn’t say I think it’s super safe for that reason.

Perfect for my growing puppy. Love the soft sides as he likes to hang his head over the side of the car seat. He was lying in it sleeping within 5 mins of me putting the stuffing in. Really easy to put together which means it will be easy to wash when needed.

Ha superato le mie aspettative, capente è comodo il mio barboncino di 6 kg ci sta molto comodo , dorme per tutto il viaggio, mentre con quello di prima stava sempre seduto perché non si sentiva sicuro. Può starci comodamente anche un cane di 10/12 kg.
