It's functional and a good value if you want to see if a child likes tents or ball pits
My kids definitely love to play in this, it's not very durable so I don't think it would last too long outside or with long term sun exposure. From what I've seen the roof doesn't attach so you wouldn't be able to take it to the beach and block the sun from the tent because it would fly off first wind gust. But otherwise if you're looking for a simple, small tent or ball pit it's definitely worth it for the price. My daughter can knock this over and roll the whole thing across the living room and she's one.

Light weight, but fun
This little tent is giving a lot of pleasure. My intention was for an indoor reading space for our granddaughter. She loves it!

Bought 2
Okay, my two other grandkids have their own little play houses. They do not want to share, so we now have 3, which is better. I love this little one. Was bigger than I thought it would be and helps with the removable top. We liked this so much, we bought 2, one for her house and one for ours.

Great Play Tent For Kids Aged One Through Five
This is the second princess tent I’ve purchased. The first one was meant for our granddaughter, but it got hijacked by our three grandsons (all under the age of four) when they visited us. They liked it so much I let them take the tent home. It gave me the opportunity to see just how much abuse an inexpensive little tent could take. It has been about a year with lots of rough and tumble play, but the tent looks good as new. Even the screened-in mesh sides are intact. The tent easily accommodates all three boys, and they still love playing inside it.Now our granddaughter is a little older and ready for her own. These tents seem most appropriate for ages one through five. I like everything about them—the tents fold flat and the removable top is fun for peek-a-boo. The photo gives an idea of the interior space with one four year old inside. When all three boys are in it, the tent goes this way and that, but it’s lightweight and portable enough for them to put back into place or move to wherever they want to play.

Adorable, portable but lid does not attach
I bought this for my 18 month old for Christmas. She really loves it. It fits well in the carying case when I don't want out in the living room. Just don't follow the instructions to put it away, do a figure 8 and fold in- on itself. The top lid does not attach, so if you take it outside, a breeze will blow the lid right off. I didn't know this when I bought it, but I would have purchased it anyway because it's adorable. It's a great buy though. I've folded and unfolded this thing countless times out of the dinner plate sized carying case and its still holding up.Nov 2021 update: My daughter still has this thing and uses it. It has held up over the years. It goes back into the original case with ease. She has drawn on it and still loves it. The stars were glow in the dark but has lost that function. She loves it and still uses it for camp outs in the living room. The cat (new since buying the tent) loves it too.Since it folds up so we’ll, it can easily be put away, which is why it has lasted so long I think.Im glad I bought this thing in 2016. Great investment!!!

lovely and spacious!
This was a gift to the daughter of a dear friend of mine, on her second birthday. she absolutely loved it, and so did all of my adult friends!! the tent itself is well made, looks cute, very spacious. There are two issues though- One is that its not easy to fold it back the exact same way so it can fit into the bag it came in. it can be done and it took one of my friends 20 mins to do it, but its not easy. other than that, this is a great tent! the other tissue is that there is no way to attach the roof to the tent; no Velcro or hook or any such thing. you just have to place it on top. which means if you are outdoor, and there is a strong wind, the roof of the tent might blow away...
