Question 1

is this waterproof so I can repair a pool winter cover?

Accepted Answer

I would say no for a pool cover which is made of different type plastics probably. I'd use a tire patch repair kit which contains a glue and rubber pads that stay on inner tubes inside tires and would surely stay on the pool cover. Of course it might not look too swell unless installed from the bottom side. I loved this glue until I found this right from Amazon-Eclectic Products 380112 Seal All Adhesive, 2-Ounce--this glue when applied to both parts works almost instantly--type that into search on amazon all & read about it. I used it to glue the rubber around my doors on a car & fell in love with it as I didn't think anything was better than the stick and seal, but this seal all takes first place with me now. Most glues need two parts to work well to bond together to be honest but I think after you read about it you'll see that it will work if you use another piece of plastic & put glue on both parts. Actually just a 100 % clear silicone might help also as it is very flexible. You have a trial and error problem unless the pool dealers know of something they may sell for this problem. Hope this helps.

Question 2

Will this seal a leaky truck bed cover (aluminum) that leaks at the rubber hinges?

Accepted Answer

It probably will, but I'd think that something like the rubberized Flex Seal that I see advertised on TV would be better.

Question 3

Will this work on a custom license plate frame?

Accepted Answer

I'm pretty sure that it'll work on almost anything.

Question 4

Will this work on fiberglass screen door?

Accepted Answer

haven’t found anything it wouldn’t work on yet. precise application may be difficult as a result it could be messy. apply cautiously.
