Jorgensen 36-inch Bar Clamps Set, 2-pack Cabinet Master 90° Parallel Clamps

I purchased these clamps as part of a large and complicated workbench project. (I had resisted the temptation to buy them sooner because this style of clamp is a bit pricey.) They performed perfectly and made a stressful glue up very manageable. The bars are stiff and did not flex much at all, even under a lot of pressure. The grips are comfortable and provide a firm grasp. One feature I really appreciate is the smooth bar design. This design makes it very easy to clean in the event that glue drips on the bar. Other parallel clamps have ridged bars that can accumulate glue and make it very difficult to clean. While relatively expensive, these clamps perform tasks where others cannot. With large glue ups, these are essential. They will not replace other clamps for lighter jobs. In fact, I will probably use my f-style clamps 90% of the time, but am so glad to have these when the need arises.

These are Jorgensen. They are quality out right. You are paying for that quality. Worth it every time. Buy these things slowly over time and build an amazing workshop. They come full assembled and ready to go. I haven't had any issues with grip or hold and I work with these almost daily. They are heavy which is a nice feature.

These “K”-clamps are the traditional glue up clamp you see in every workshop. They work well but have a couple of significant drawbacks I hadn’t considered before. First of all they’re heavy and if you have a glue up with 4 or more of these clamps in use you might need help if you have to move the assembly. Secondly, the bars tend to leave black spots from the reaction with the glue, so you’ll need to place tape over the bar to minimize that. I do like that they stand up vertically so you can set a small panel or door against the wall while waiting for the glue to dry (see the weight comment above). They are well made and seem like they’ll last a while, but I will be looking for lighter options (e.g. aluminum bar clamps) for my next purchase,

Desde que los saqué de la caja me parecieron muy robustos y pesados. Según mis malos cálculos pesaban unos diez kilos. Ya con una báscula vi que pesaban un poco menos de 4.5 kg En cuanto al deslizamiento de la "mandíbula" me pareció excelente ese sistema de jalar el mango del tornillo. Con ese peso que tienen realmente se pueden usar con una sola mano. Tengo unos cuantos sargentos de tubo de la marca "PONY", haciendo la comparación, la evolución de estas herramientas es increíble. La función de "separador" es realmente útil para ese fin o para lo que vaya saliendo; subir, levantar, apretar contra algo, desarmar, etc. Estoy muy contento con estas abrazaderas gigantes y me da gusto haberlas comprado cuando veo otras un poquito más baratas pero de aluminio y de marcas desconocidas.

EXCLENTES, MUY ROBUSTAS Y ME PARECE EXCELENTE LA FORMA EN QUE LAS RECORRES A LO LARGO DE LA VARILLA. AÚN NO LAS PRUEBO CON ALGUN MUEBLE EN PROCESO PARA SABER SI EL APRIETE NO PRESENTA PROBLEMA ALGUNO. EXCELENTE CALIDAD, COMO LO SON LOS PRODUCTOS DE ESTA MARCA. EL EMPAQUE MUY BIEN SIN DAÑOS Y EN CAJA BIEN PROTEGIDA. POR CIERTO CON LA MARCA DEL PRODUCTO EN ESTA.

Simplemente espectaculares!!! Muy robustos, precisos y el sistema de bloqueo es mejor que en otros similares. Para desbloquear, sin tensión ya del tornillo, lo cual haces para abrir más la amplitud de las mordazas por ejemplo, simplemente jalas un poco la mandíbula inferior a través del mango y el deslizamiento libre es muy simple y eficiente
