Not the best, but did the job in the end
The white plastic insert cracked on installation so feels fairly flimsy and brittle. The black rubber one was easy to install though and has fixed the broken seat. Not the best set, but ended up doing the job.

A good solution that works
My toilet seat kept on coming loose and I couldn't source the fixings for it.When I seen this I knew it would work and you can u derstand the principle behind it. The toilet seat is now very secure and I'm happy that I've got good torque on the fixing screws.
