There are some positives for sure, quality control issues keep me from recommending this guitar.I got very excited when these came out. Size-wise they're perfect for elementary-age students, and three strings is much less intimidating to new players than six. Design-wise -- the neck width and radius, the light weight, all that is brilliant, and this may be the first guitar really designed with tiny kid hands in mind.As it stands, this guitar is fine for playing in first position, but intonation issues become obvious when you try to fret any chords above the fifth fret. I'm not a stranger to guitar setup -- I've fiddled with the bridge and have not been able to get it in tune across the fretboard. I could get my local guitar tech to replace the saddle maybe and do a custom setup, but I don't want to sink any more money into it.After a few months of playing it, the nut that holds the 1/4 jack in place popped off. I was able to get it back on, but the jack has been loose ever since.Great design, but I'm not sure that the build quality matches the price here.
